Abstract:
A vertical memory device includes a substrate, gate lines, channels, contacts and contact spacers. The gate lines are stacked on top of each other on the substrate. The gate lines are spaced apart from each other in a vertical direction with respect to a top surface of the substrate. The gate lines include step portions that extend in a parallel direction with respect to the top surface of the substrate. The channels extend through the gate lines in the vertical direction. The contacts are on the step portions of the gate lines. The contact spacers are selectively formed along sidewalls of a portion of the contacts.

Abstract:
Disclosed herein is an iodine-sulfur cycle for nuclear hydrogen production, which can improve thermochemical efficiency. The iodine-sulfur cycle is advantageous in that the amount of excess water and iodine supplied to a Bunsen reaction process is minimized, thus minimizing the amount of thermal energy consumed in the recovery and recirculation process thereof, in that sulfuric acid having stronger hydrophilicity than hydrogen iodide absorbs excess water in large quantities in a spontaneous liquid-liquid phase separation process, so that, after the spontaneous liquid-liquid phase separation process, the concentration of hydrogen iodide in a hydrogen iodide solution exceeds a concentration at an azeotropic point without conducting an additional concentration process, with the result that highly-concentrated hydrogen iodide gas can be obtained only through a flashing process, thereby decreasing energy consumption and simplifying the process and thus improving economical efficiency, and in that process temperature and pressure can be decreased, thus greatly deceasing the corrosivity in an operational environment. Therefore, the iodine-sulfur cycle according to the present invention can be usefully used for high-efficient and environmentally-friendly nuclear hydrogen production.

Disclosed is a remote communication system and method. A remote communication system includes a digital protection relay and a remote monitoring system. The digital protection relay stores and maintains fault indices for identifying a predetermined number of faults that have occurred, fault time tags corresponding to the fault indices and fault data corresponding to the fault indices. The remote monitoring system sets a fault index, a fault time tag, a fault data block size to be communicated at a time and a fault data block index for specifying a fault data block to be communicated, and requests the digital protection relay of a fault data block.

More particularly, a contact card recognition system using a contact card includes: a contact card having a rear surface with at least one protrusion for representing characteristics of the contact card related to the information printed on a front surface of the contact card and identifying characteristics of the contact card; a touch screen for sensing the protrusion of the contact card, and generating position information for the zone corresponding to the protrusion; a reading unit for searching a code database on the basis of the position information, and generating code information in accordance with the position information; and a control unit for searching a characteristic database of the contact card in accordance with the code information, and extracting characteristic information in accordance with the code information. The characteristic information is output to the touch screen.
Abstract:
Provided is a torsion bar support structure of a seat belt retractor capable of smoothly rotating a rotary torsion bar and preventing deformation of the torsion bar due to moment applied to the torsion bar by coupling support members to both ends of the torsion bar. The torsion bar support structure of a seat belt retractor includes a housing constituting a main body of the seat belt retractor, a guide drum rotatably coupled to the housing, a torsion bar inserted into the guide drum, a base member fixed to one side of the housing, a locking member fixed to the other side of the housing, and a cylinder accommodating a piston therein to rotate a gear member fixed to the base member, the structure including: a bearing member coupled to the gear member, and a cap surrounding a cover fixing shaft projecting from the locking member, wherein the bearing member and the cap rotatably support the torsion bar when rotation moment is applied in a circumferential direction and an axial direction of the torsion bar.Since a torsion bar is rotatably supported by a bearing member and a cap, the torsion bar can be smoothly rotated by moment applied in an axial direction thereof. In addition, even though axial moment is applied, it is possible to prevent position variation and deformation of the torsion bar. Further, contact resistance between a connector and a projection can be reduced when the torsion bar is rotated, and thus the torsion bar can be smoothly rotated.

Furthermore, according to the present disclosure, various setting values required for a plurality of digital protective relays, respectively, may be accessed and downloaded once, thereby enhancing the user's convenience and increasing management efficiency.
Abstract:
Provided is a seat belt retractor capable of having its assembly readily performed to increase assembly efficiency, simplifying shapes of components to readily manufacture the retractor and reduce manufacturing cost, and preventing a webbing from being hooked when the webbing is rewound. The seat belt retractor includes a housing constituting a main body of the seat belt retractor, a guide drum rotatably installed in the housing, a connector inserted into one side of the guide drum, a base member surrounding the connector, a gear member inserted into the base member, a cylinder for operating the gear member, a torsion bar inserted into the guide drum, a locking member fixedly inserted between the torsion bar and the guide drum, a locking clutch installed at one surface of the locking member, a mechanism cover installed at one surface of the locking clutch, and a friction spring installed in the mechanism cover to stop operation of a lock arm fixed to the locking clutch. Therefore, an operator can assemble the base member and the gear member while viewing them. In addition, the clutch rollers rotate while moving outwardly along the slant surfaces of the slant gear to rotate the connector and rewind the webbing. Thus, shock applied to a passenger is lessened.
