    Abstract: A method of simultaneously injecting a proppant and an acidic well treatment fluid into a subterranean formation is described. The method includes pumping the acidic fluid into the formation while simultaneously pumping a slurry of the proppant in a carrier fluid containing one or more friction reducing agents. The acidic fluid stream and the proppant slurry stream mix before entering the formation and are pumped at approximately equal rates. Also described is a system for simultaneously pumping the acidic fluid and the proppant slurry into the formation.
