    摘要: A system such as a hydrogen refueling station and a method are provided. The system includes a cryotank for storing a liquefied fuel having liquid and vapor phases, a pump for providing a first stream of the liquefied fuel in the liquid phase from the cryotank, a heat exchanger for converting at least a portion of the first stream to a gaseous fuel, a dispenser for dispensing at least a portion of the gaseous fuel to a receiving fuel tank, a refrigeration unit integrated with the heat exchanger, and a backup power unit. The refrigeration unit and the heat exchanger exchange heat with each other, and the refrigeration unit provides cooling capacity to a facility of environment where cooling is needed. The backup power unit generate electric power by using a second stream of the liquefied fuel in the vapor phase or in the liquid phase or both.

    摘要: A flow battery field, an electrode slurry, a slurry electrode, a flow battery, and a stack are disclosed. The electrode slurry comprising electrode particles and electrolyte that contains active substance. Based on 100 pbw active substance, the electrode particles are 10-1,000 pbw. The slurry electrode comprises: a bipolar plate, a current collector, and a slurry electrode reservoir configured to store electrode slurry. In the two opposite sides of the bipolar plate, one side is adjacent to the current collector, and the other side is arranged with a slurry electrode cavity, and flow channels are arranged and extended between the bipolar plate and the slurry electrode cavity, so that the electrode slurry is circulated between the slurry electrode cavity and the slurry electrode reservoir. A flow battery that employs the electrode slurry can provide higher and more stable power output under the same current condition and is lower in cost.

    摘要: The invention relates to gas separation, particularly to a process for separating CO2 from a CO2 containing gas stream with varying CO2 concentration using a membrane-based separation system. The process for separating CO2 comprises: (i) feeding the CO2 containing gas stream into a membrane-based separation system comprising one or more membrane stages in-line, each membrane stage producing a CO2-depleted retentate stream and a rich CO2 permeate stream, and (ii) recycling a part of the CO2-rich permeate stream from at least one membrane stage as a recycled stream, into a preceding feed stream of one or more membrane stages in the membrane-based separation system to adjust the CO2 concentration of the feed stream. The process could stabilize the CO2 concentration in the feed steam by recirculation of a fraction of the high purity CO2 permeate to the feed of the membrane system, which would result in a lower incremental auxiliary load than other options such as compression of the entire gas stream.
