An apparatus for updating a database for wireless LAN based positioning includes a database for storing grid cells divided by pCell ID and base station-derived environment information and wireless LAN environment information matched to the grid cells; a grid cell determining unit for determining an information-unmeasured grid cell among the grid cells, the information-unmeasured grid cell being a grid cell that has unmeasured information among parameters of the wireless LAN environment information matched to the grid cells; an unmeasured parameter checking unit for checking an unmeasured parameter in the information-unmeasured grid cell; a radiowave environment estimating unit for generating radiowave environment estimation information by estimating the unmeasured information based on the unmeasured parameter checked; and a database updating unit for reflecting the radiowave environment estimation information in the information-unmeasured grid cell determined.

The method includes scanning a radio wave of an access point, determining an available charging frequency band among frequency bands, sending the access point a request for transmitting a charging radio wave at the charging frequency band, and switching power output from an antenna, to a battery circuit.

There is provided a driving apparatus for a light emitting diode (LED) comparing a rectified power voltage level with an LED current to limit current applied to an LED, thereby reducing the amount of heat generated therein. The driving apparatus for an LED includes a detecting unit detecting a voltage level of rectified power; and a driving unit comparing a level of current flowing in an LED unit having at least one LED with detection results from the detecting unit, and limiting current applied to the LED unit to drive the LED unit according to comparison results.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a new use of TRIM72 as a target for muscle enhancer and heart enhancer, more particularly to a composition for enhancing muscle or heart comprising an expression or action inhibitor of TRIM72 protein. The present invention further relates to a new TRIM mutant protein inducing muscle differentiation and hypertrophy and its gene. The inventors of the present invention have identified that TRIM72 overexpression inhibits myogenesis whereas TRIM72 knockdown enhances myogenesis, and first elucidated that TRIM72 is a negative regulator of skeletal muscle differentiation. Accordingly, the inhibition of TRIM72 acts exclusively on skeletal muscle and heart muscle, but does not affect IGF-I signaling pathway in other tissues. Therefore, a drug or gene therapy using TRIM72 as a target may be helpful in treating obesity and type 2 diabetes by promoting skeletal muscle differentiation, hypertrophy and energy consumption in adipose tissue and inducing strong muscle by promoting physiological hypertrophy of heart muscle, without cancer or other side effects.

An automatic vending machine for fruit juice and a control method thereof. The vending machine includes a main body having both a fruit storage unit for storing fresh fruit in a refrigerated state and a fruit feeding unit for feeding stored fresh fruit in the main body; a rotary arm unit having two rotary arms that rotate in opposite directions such that the fresh fruit, fed by the fruit feeding unit, is seated and held by the two rotary arms; a fruit cutting unit installed below the rotary arm unit and having a blade for cutting the fruit, held by the two rotary arms, into two pieces when the fruit is moved downwards; a fruit crushing unit installed below the fruit cutting unit and having two crushing bars, which are placed vertically and crush the fruit pieces held by the two rotary arms to make fruit juice when the two rotary arms holding the respective fruit pieces are rotated downwards and move downwards; and a control unit for recognizing an input bill or an input coin and controlling the vending machine in accordance with manipulation of a user.

An analog correlator for very high speed data communication, including a single transmission line receiving an input signal and used as a signal delay circuit, a plurality of analog multipliers connected in parallel with a predetermined gap from the transmission line, for receiving a predetermined size of voltages, respectively, and an adder for adding the signals from the plurality of analog multipliers and transmitting the resultant signal as an output signal. The analog correlator can perform very high speed data communication, and can be applied to a high precision position estimation system. Moreover, the time delay is controlled in each part of the transmission line by adjusting a size of a variable capacitor. As a result, the length of the transmission line can be adjusted. Furthermore, the correlator is adaptively used according to variations of the very high speed communication environment by adjusting voltages of application voltage devices.
Abstract:
An impulse generation circuit is provided for generating an impulse using a transmission line. Impulse characteristics of the impulse generation circuit are varied with the length of a transmission line rather than the characteristic variation of various devices used therein. The length of the transmission line is adjusted, such that a width of a generated pulse is adjusted. Because an end of the transmission line is short-circuited, the transmission line length can be easily adjusted on a substrate, and a ringing phenomenon due to re-reflection can be removed using termination impedance.
