摘要: A dielectric antenna (1) having at least one supply element (2) and at least one lens (3) formed of a dielectric material. The dielectric antenna makes it possible to measure the surface of a medium with an essentially consistent measuring accuracy in that the lens (3) has an outer component (4) and an inner component (5). The outer component (4) has a radiating surface (6) that is spherical and an inner surface (7) that is spherical, and the inner component (5) has a contact surface (8) that spherical. Furthermore, the antenna is usable as part of a fill level sensor operating on the radar principle.

摘要: An actuator for a speed governor of an elevator system includes a governor wheel equipped with at least two flyweights. The governor wheel can be driven by a governor cable looped around it. An actuator wheel is stationary in a basic position. A coupler engages the actuator wheel when the governor wheel attains an actuation speed and thus couples with the governor wheel so that the actuator wheel is caused to rotate. An elastic material, preferably transmitting a high degree of friction, is provided between the coupler and the actuator wheel. The actuator wheel has a lining or tyre of the elastic material and/or the coupler is equipped with the elastic material.

摘要: A variable pressure reusable sensor has a first jaw having a first hinge and an emitter and an opposing second jaw having a second hinge and a detector. A pin is disposed through the first and second hinges so as to rotatably attach the first and second jaws. The jaws are adapted to attach to a tissue site so that the emitter transmits optical radiation into the tissue site and the detector receives optical radiation after absorption by the tissue site. A spring having a plurality of legs is disposed around the pin and configured so that the legs apply force to the jaws. A tensioner is disposed proximate at least one of the jaws and configured to variably position at least one of the legs so as to adjust pressure exerted by the jaws on the tissue site.

摘要: The invention relates to an anti-roll bar for a motor vehicle, the anti-roll bar being one-piece or multi-piece and being composed of a torsion rod (12) and bent rotating legs (14) on both sides, the free ends (16) of which can each be connected to a wheel suspension of the motor vehicle by means of swivel joints, wherein the anti-roll bar (11) is formed from a resin-bonded main body. According to the invention, the main body consists of a cord (4), which achieves stiffness by curing the resin. The cord (4) is introduced into a closed tool as a preform and resin is injected into the tool. This has the advantage that, for the installation of the anti-roll bar according to the invention, the assemblies and elements that have already been used on motor vehicles for this purpose and have been tested with regard to driving safety can be left unchanged in the essential characteristics thereof, which is a result of the design and shape of the presented anti-roll bar and of the selection of the material of the presented anti-roll bar.
