摘要: A hollow mesoporous organic silica nano/microparticle having metal particles deposited thereon, and a method for preparing the same. The method may prepare a spherical nanoparticle by coating a porous organic silica layer on an inorganic silica particle having the metal particles deposited thereon and via selective etching of the layer. In addition, two or more types of metals pre-synthesized together with a magnetic particle, or different shapes of metals may be deposited on the nanoparticle at a target concentration. Thus, the nano/microparticle may be used for a drug delivery matrix, a catalyst, and a photothermal effect.

摘要: The present invention relates in part to a method of fabricating multimetallic nanoparticles, the method comprising the steps of providing a substrate; activating the substrate surface; adsorbing a cationic transition metal complex onto the substrate surface to form a substrate-supported cationic transition metal complex; adsorbing an anionic transition metal complex onto the substrate-supported cationic transition metal complex to form a substrate-supported multimetallic complex salt; and reducing the substrate-supported multimetallic complex salt to provide a plurality of multimetallic nanoparticles. The invention also relates in part to a composition of multimetallic nanoparticles comprising at least two metals Ma and Mb; wherein the ratio of Ma to Mb is between about 2:1 and about 1:2.

摘要: A process for direct esterification of an alkyl aldehyde with an alkyl alcohol to produce an alkyl ester is disclosed. The process comprises reacting an alkyl aldehyde with an alkyl alcohol in the presence of an Au/TiOa catalyst, a base and an enal or oxygen to form an ester and an aldehyde. The process avoids liberation of water and avoids the step of oxidation of the alkyl aldehyde to an alkyl acid.
