摘要: An electrode plate of a rechargeable electrochemical battery. The electrode plate comprises a substantially flat lead grid having a plurality of grid bars and a plurality of window-like cutouts formed between the grid bars. The electrode plate further comprises an active material introduced into the cutouts and/or onto the grid bars of the lead grid. The active material has an artificially produced pattern of slot-shaped depressions on its surface. The depressions extend to a depth from the outer surface of the active material. Also disclosed is a rechargeable electrochemical battery comprising the at least one electrode.

摘要: A lead-acid battery is disclosed. The lead-acid storage battery has a container with a cover, the container including one or more compartments. One or more cell elements are provided in the one or more compartments. The one or more cell elements include a positive plate, the positive plate having a positive grid and a positive electrochemically active material on the positive grid; a negative plate, the negative plate having a negative grid and a negative electrochemically active material on the negative grid, wherein the negative electrochemically active material comprises barium sulfate and an organic expander; and a separator between the positive plate and the negative plate. Electrolyte is provided within the container. One or more terminal posts extend from the cover and are electrically coupled to the one or more cell elements.

摘要: Welding electrode arrangement and method for welding one interconnector of two adjacent electrochemical cells of a rechargeable battery. The two electrochemical cells are disposed to be separated by means of a housing partition. The interconnectors are disposed to face one another on two opposite sides of the housing partition. An opening is disposed in a region of the housing partition. The method comprises contacting the interconnectors with a welding electrode arrangement. The welding electrode arrangement has at least one pair of welding electrodes. One welding electrode of the at least one pair of welding electrodes contacts in each case one of the interconnectors by means of an insert part. The method further comprises welding the interconnectors in such a manner that the material of the interconnectors melts at least in regions and is connected in a materially bonded manner through the opening in the housing partition.

摘要: A sealing plug arrangement for sealing a combined filling and degassing opening of an accumulator. The sealing plug arrangement includes at least one valve part, one valve holder, and one sealing plug. The valve part is arranged on the valve holder and forms an openable valve mechanism with the valve holder for sealing at least one interior space of the accumulator from the surrounding area upon pressurization. The sealing plug includes at least one fastening means for fixing to the filling and degassing opening and at the same time subjecting the valve part to a pretensioning force toward the valve holder. The valve holder includes at least one extension axially projecting toward the valve part which is formed as a circumferential sealing edge on a surface facing the valve part on which the valve part rests.

摘要: A compact AGM lead acid battery is disclosed. The battery has a container and one or more electrically connected cells in the container. The electrically connected cells are formed by a plurality of positive plates and plurality of negative plates, wherein an absorbent glass mat is interleaved between positive and negative plates. Electrolyte is provided within the container. The lead acid battery has an improved battery performance per volume and less lead weight than a conventional AGM lead acid battery or EFB lead acid battery.

摘要: The invention relates to an energy storage system for a vehicle, in particular a starter battery for a vehicle, having a plurality of energy storage cells for providing and/or storing electric energy and a housing which has a plurality of wall elements that delimit the interior of the housing. A fluidic connection is formed between the individual chambers, and a ventilation valve is arranged on one of the wall elements, preferably a cover element, of the housing in a respective region paired with the corresponding chamber. At least one of the ventilation valves is an active ventilation valve, and the remaining ventilation valves are blind closures.

The connection pole has a connection region for securing a pole terminal to the connection pole, and a securing region for securing the connection pole to a housing part of the rechargeable battery. Here, the diameter of the substantially ring-shaped circumferential region is consistently smaller than the diameter of that end of the connection region which faces the securing region.
