Abstract:
Based on data indicative of an area proximate to a robotic device, a scene is generated. Based on information from a knowledge database, a task associated with the scene is identified. A risk threshold is determined based on the scene, the task, and one or more trust thresholds. Based on the risk threshold, a ratio of sub-tasks of the task to be controlled by a user is determined. In accordance with the risk threshold, a user input is received for controlling one or more of the sub-tasks when the ratio dictates that at least one of the sub-tasks requires user intervention.
Abstract:
A kayak holder configurable between an open, load-receiving configuration and a closed, stored configuration can include an elongate support arm and a base. The base can be releasably mountable upon a load bar of a carrying vehicle. The elongate support arm can be anchored to a hub having an axle rotatably coupled to the base. The base can comprise a keyway assembly that releasably receives a mating key assembly on the axle. The elongate support arm can have a locked position where the key assembly is interference-engaged in the keyway assembly and an unlocked position where the key assembly axially displaced from the locked position out of interference-engagement with the keyway assembly. The key assembly can include a key adapted to be located in a keyway of the keyway assembly in the locked position, thereby blocking rotation of the arm relative to the base.
Abstract:
A method of manufacture of a wax model of an annular bladed turbomachine stator assembly includes in succession the positioning, in a mold, of a core intended to form the impression of a cavity of a blade of the assembly, the injection of a wax in the mold, and the removal of the wax model fitted with the core from the mold. The core is manufactured in metal and is positioned such that its radially internal end is housed in the portion of the mold defining the blade including the cavity, away from the radially internal end of this portion of the mold.

Abstract:
A turbine nozzle for a turbomachine, the nozzle including two coaxial platforms interconnected by radial vanes, an inner platform being connected to an annular partition that is festooned or crenellated and on which there is fastened an annular support carrying elements made of abradable material. The support is capable of sliding circumferentially over the partition between a mounting-and-dismounting position and a position for locking the support on the partition.
Abstract:
A method for manufacturing decorative scissor handles and scissors made from the method are provided. A method for forming pattern parameters for molds for scissors handles is also provided. In a closed position, the handles resemble a design, such as a reindeer, a snowman, or any other desired design. The exterior surfaces of the handles can be decorated.
Abstract:
A cycle handlebar is provided comprising a central cross piece, a pair of forearm pad supports extending from the cross piece, each of said pad supports having a length extending substantially parallel to the cross piece and a pair of laterally spaced steering arms extending generally forward from the cross piece. A steering arm and forearm rest assembly for a cycle handlebar is also provided, comprising: a handlebar stem, a pair of laterally spaced steering arms, and a pair of forearm pad supports each having a length to be positioned substantially parallel to and spaced from said cross piece. The steering arms and forearm pad supports have mating clamp parts forming first clamps for attaching a steering arm and pad support to each other and to the stem.
