摘要： Methods and apparatus are provided for associating scores with search results obtained from a search engine so that the scores can be displayed with the search results. A search of electronic documents, such as webpages, is requested and a set of search results obtained. Each search result in the set references an electronic docu-ment. Using the search results, a database containing scores determined for electronic documents is searched to determine whether scores have been determined for the electronic documents referenced by the search results. The scores stored in the database are based on people's ratings of the electronic document corresponding to the score. If a score has been determined for an electronic document referenced by one of the search results, that score is associated with the search result and the search results are then displayed with any scores associated with the search results.

摘要： Techniques for over the air (OTA) microcontroller flash memory updates using a wireless network are disclosed herein. A control node first transmits the microcontroller flash memory update to all devices that can receive the message. Each packet of the message is relayed through multiple communication levels until all devices receive the packet. This starts with communications from the control node to each device node that has a direct communication path to the control node, which are referred to herein as “first level” device nodes. The first level device nodes then relay each communication to each other device node that has a direct communication path to the first level device nodes, which are referred to herein as “second level” device nodes. This process is repeated at each level of the wireless network until each of the plurality of device nodes has received the microcontroller flash memory update.

摘要： A method, apparatus and data structure is provided to determine a score for an electronic document, such as a webpage, image, audio recording, video recording or other electronic content, to aid in the ranking and retrieval of the electronic document. The score for an electronic document is based on weighted subjective user ratings of the electronic document by members of a member set. Weight factors are assigned to the members of the member set who then rate the electronic document. The score is determined for the electronic document based on the ratings of the electronic document by the members in the member set where each member's rating is weighted by a weight factor specific for the member who has provided the rating. The weight factor for a member is based on ratings assigned to that member by other members in the member set.
