摘要: The present application provides a system for malicious control detection in power grids. The system includes at least one node configured to detect power grid parameters for each power phase and generate a signal indicative of time-series sensor measurements for each power phase. A controller in communication with the node may be configured to receive from the at least one node, the respective signals, extract at least one feature from the respective signals, provide the at least one feature as an input to a deep-learning model, receive an output from the deep-learning model indicative of a relationship between the power grid parameters and a node health associated with the at least one node, generate a status tag associated with the at least one node based at least in part on the output, wherein the status tag is normal or malicious, and generate a status signal indicative of the status tag.

摘要: Time-synchronized state estimation for reconfigurable distribution systems is challenging because of limited real-time observability. A system addresses this challenge by formulating a deep learning (DL)-based approach for topology identification (TI) and unbalanced three-phase distribution system state estimation (DSSE). Two deep neural networks (DNNs) are trained for time-synchronized DNN-based TI and DSSE, respectively, for systems that are incompletely observed by synchrophasor measurement devices (SMDs) in real-time. A data-driven approach for judicious SMD placement to facilitate reliable TI and DSSE is also developed.

The method also includes determining a correlation between a first temporal variation and a second temporal variation of an output exchanged by the converter with the sub-network, and detecting an island network if the determined correlation undershoots a specified correlation measurement.

摘要: A local electric power system (EPS) field tester is provided for field testing of a local EPS. The local EPS has distributed energy resources (DERs) and is capable of operating in conjunction with, or independently from, an external power system while supplying load(s). The local EPS field tester comprises local EPS testing equipment deployed in and/or on mobile deployment equipment. The local EPS testing equipment includes a gateway (for relaying signaling between the local EPS field tester and a local EPS controller of the local EPS), a power distribution busbar, and various switchgear including local EPS connection switchgear, DER connection switchgear, and load connection switchgear. The local EPS testing equipment further includes load controller equipment configured to emulate or simulate a load controller of the local EPS, according to signaling from the local EPS controller or an emulated or simulated SCADA/DMS system as relayed by the gateway.

摘要: A power quality monitor (PQM) module includes a solid-state semi-conductor switch having a voltage input, two signal inputs and two voltage outputs. A voltage input line is electrically connected to the voltage input. A PQM signal input line is operatively connected to at least one of the two signal inputs. A voltage output line is electrically connected to one of the two voltage outputs to provide power to a load. A method of controlling a GCB includes opening a solid-state semi-conductor switch when a PQM signal is powered at a first logic voltage. The method includes closing the solid-state semi-conductor switch when a PQM signal is powered at a second logic voltage lower than the first logic voltage to allow a voltage from a GCU to go to the GCB.

摘要: A laundry machine comprising: a drum; a motor to rotate the drum; electric heating element(s) configured to produce heat; an airflow path from the heating element(s) to the drum; an analog to digital converter (ADC) configured to sample an AC voltage from a first power line of a group of power lines connected to the machine; and a controller configured to: (a) trigger the ADC to sample an AC voltage from the first power line, (b) determine a timing of occurrence of a peak value of the sampled AC voltage from the first power line, (c) compare the timing of occurrence of the peak value to predetermined timing signatures, (d) choose one of the timing signatures based on the comparison, and (e) control power to the electric heating element based on the chosen timing signature. Methods of operating a laundry washing machine are also provided.

Correlation values or confidence factors may be used to identify a transformer for the correct association.
