Abstract:
The invention relates to a crane, in particular an overhead crane or gantry crane, having at least two crane girders that extend horizontally in a longitudinal direction. The crane is designed as trussed girders and each girder includes an upper run with a moveable crane trolley and lifting gear. Each crane girders is composed of two upper run profiles that are connected together via a running rail for the crane trolley. By way of such a design, particularly simple assembly of the crane girders or of the crane can be achieved. Therefore, commercially available, conventional structural steel can be used for the upper run, from which the upper run is produced in a simple manner in terms of manufacturing technology by simple connection to a corresponding running rail.
Abstract:
A control system includes an intuitively working remote control operating unit which has a first pair of control elements for controlling a movement of a hoist, in particular a trolley of a crane, in two opposite movement directions along an axis. One control element is assigned separately to one movement direction and the other control element assigned separately to the other opposite movement direction. The control elements are so disposed as to form a side-correct representation of the movement directions, wherein assignment of the control elements to the movement directions corresponds to an orientation of the operating unit in relation to a directed external field and is swapped, when the operating unit is oriented in opposite direction.
Abstract:
A holding mechanism for retaining the position of a piston rod of a pneumatic cylinder forming part of a primary fluid-operated system, includes a first set of plates disposed in spaced-apart parallel relationship and having one end connected to the piston rod so as to move together with the piston rod in a longitudinal direction and a second set of plates for engagement between the plates of the first set so that the plates of the first and second sets bear laterally upon one another. A lever is urged in forced engagement against the plates by an elastic member, which is connected to the lever and biased by fluid from the pressure source. In the presence of a pressure drop, the elastic member squeezes the plates of the first and second sets, so as to secure the plates in position through friction.
Abstract:
A crane, in particular an overhead crane or gantry crane, comprising at least one crane girder, which extends horizontally and is designed as a trussed girder having an upper run and a lower run. A crane trolley having a lifting device can be moved on the crane girder. The invention further relates to a method for assembling a crane girder, comprising an assembly step for producing the trussed structure of the crane girder. The crane girder includes an adapter on at least one of the two opposite ends, which adapter can be fastened to the upper run and the lower run in such a way that the adapter can be oriented relative to the upper run and the lower run and then the adapter can be welded onto the upper run and the lower run in a desired position.
Abstract:
A flow regulating apparatus for a fluid, in particular a pneumatic choke valve, includes a housing having an inlet port and an outlet port fluidly connected by a choke channel. A throttling piston is disposed in the choke channel for movement in longitudinal direction between an initial position and an end position. The throttling piston includes a tapered section to define with the choke channel an overflow passage whose cross section is dependent on a position of the throttling piston, wherein the tapered section is configured such that a movement of the throttling piston from the initial position to the end position results in a progressive increase of the cross section of the overflow passage.
Abstract:
A clamp for a cylindrical includes a base portion and a clamping portion which define together a common through opening for passage of a cylindrical element. Fasteners are provided to brace the base portion and the clamping portion to thereby hold the cylindrical element in a clamping zone. The base portion and the clamping portion are each provided with an attachment surface, wherein the attachment surface of the claming portion includes a cutout formed with internal teeth for optional positive engagement of external circumferential teeth of a protrusion of a base portion of a further such base portion or external circumferential teeth of a protrusion of a connection piece, such that the internal and external teeth are constrained against rotation. Thus, a series of clamps can be stacked on top of one another.
Abstract:
A control method for a balancing lifting gear which includes a lifting motor that can be actuated by a controller and uses a control handle with a force sensor to lift and lower a load-supporting device. In a “Balance” operating mode, the load-supporting device, with or without a picked-up load, is raised or lowered by the controller in response to a force applied by an operator. In order to ensure disturbance-free handling of a load when removing or attaching a load, a “Pick-up” operating mode or an “Assemble” operating mode is selected, in which the load-supporting device is moved independently without the influence of the force of the operator by the controller in the lifting or lowering direction in dependence upon the signals determined by the force sensor. A balancing lifting gear which operates in accordance with the aforementioned control method is also disclosed.
Abstract:
Apparatus for slip-free determination of a cable motion in longitudinal cable direction for a hoist, in particular a pneumatically operated cable balancing hoist, which includes a housing, and a cable drum having an outer surface area formed with a groove for receiving a cable. The cable drum is rotatably supported in the housing and moveable in a longitudinal direction in such a way that a run-off point of the cable is at a same location at any time. A sensor is provided to detect markings of the cable drum, as the markings move relative to the sensor during rotation of the cable drum, for delivering an output signal. The groove defines a helical ridge in parallel relationship to the groove, wherein the markings are provided along the ridge, and wherein the sensor is secured to the housing in confronting relationship to the ridge.
Abstract:
A system for transporting containers using heavy goods vehicles having a separate operating region in which the heavy goods vehicles can be operated includes at least one first lane for at least one external heavy goods vehicle, and at least one second lane for at least one internal heavy goods vehicle are reserved in the separate operating region. The heavy goods vehicles can be operated together in a mixed traffic situation, and the first and second lanes are each guided through a transition region of a handling unit of a storage region and each arranged laterally in relation tothe storage region.
