Abstract:
A pneumatic tyre of the semi-hollow type includes a casing having an uninflated inner volume and including an inner wall provided with a retaining bead and a convex outer wall forming the tread of the tyre, the inner wall and the outer wall of the tyre being connected by two annular borders. The inner wall of the tyre is concave so as to surmount a convex outer wall of the peripheral seat of a rim of a wheel, this outer wall being provided with a peripheral slot adapted to accommodate the retaining bead of the tyre.
Abstract:
The drive device of the invention comprises a ready to fit unit or kit, for installing in a detachable manner on one side of a chassis of a motor vehicle. The unit comprises a flexible crawler looped round a drive wheel adapted to be mounted on a drive hub of the vehicle and round a tension wheel carried by a support frame, which comprises an internal part adapted to be secured in a detachable manner on the chassis remote from the drive shaft, an intermediate part adapted to carry the tension wheel and an external part carrying a bearing for the drive wheel. The invention is particularly of use for transforming vehicles with four drive wheels for crawler operation.
Abstract:
A roller assembly for agricultural machinery is disclosed. The roller assembly includes at least one tube onto which tires are threaded, and two arms adapted to support the tube in rotation at both its ends. Each arm carries a suspension lever housed inside the tube and acted upon by a resilient recoil member. The suspension lever is mounted on the arm so as to be pivotable about a first rotation axis and supporting a shaft end which carries a flange fixed to the inside of the tube for the rotation of this tube about a second rotation axis parallel to the first rotation axis. The roller assembly applies particularly to the rollers of seed drills.

Abstract:
The machine comprises a given number of roller pairs respectively connected to the machine frame by a linking part (32). The linking part (32) of each roller pair is adapted so as to enable the rollers (12a, 12b) to incline freely about a first roll axis (YY′) perpendicular to and coplanar with the longitudinal axis (XX′) of the rollers and about a second axis (HH′) parallel to the pitch axis of the frame (10), no matter what deformations of the road or terrain are encountered. Application in particular to seed drills for agricultural machines.
Abstract:
An agricultural machine having a first frame and a roller with a tube mounted about a first axis. A second frame is connected to the first frame and a wheel, which includes a rim mounted about a second axis. The wheel has a tire and the roller has a covering around the tube. The covering and the tire tread have moldings defining a pattern element repeated in a transverse direction parallel to the first axis and to the second axis, respectively. The pitch of transverse repeat of the pattern element of the roller and the pitch of transverse repeat of the pattern element of the wheel are equal to the nearest 10%. The pattern elements define ribs the height of which on the roller and the height of which on the wheel are equal to the nearest 90%.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a roller assembly for agricultural machinery, comprising at least one tube (14) onto which tyres (16) are threaded, as well as two arms (32) adapted to support the tube (14) in rotation at both its ends. Each arm (32) carries a suspension lever (40) housed inside the tube (14) and acted upon by a resilient recoil member (48), the suspension lever (40) being mounted on the arm (32) so as to be pivotable about a first rotation axis (XX) and supporting a shaft end (64; 96) which carries a cheek (66; 108) fixed to the inside of the tube (14) for the rotation of this tube about a second rotation axis (YY) parallel to the first rotation axis (XX). The invention applies particularly to the rollers of seed drills.

The inner wall (42) of the tyre (14) is concave so as to surmount a convex outer wall (34a, 34b) of the peripheral seat (22) of a rim (12) of a wheel, this outer wall being provided with a peripheral slot (36) adapted to accommodate the retaining bead (52) of the tyre. Application particularly to depth control wheels and/or ground pressing wheels for agricultural machines.
