Abstract:
An agricultural tool used to form furrows includes a generally cylindrical support and a plurality of tires. Each tire comprises includes a sole by way of which the tire is mounted on the support, a tread opposite the sole and two sidewalls that connect the tread to the sole. The sole, the tread and the sidewalls jointly form a deformable casing. The tread of at least one of the plurality of tires has a generally domed shape. The sidewalls of this tire are generally inclined radially. The domed shape of the tread and the inclination of the sidewalls are such that the deformation of the casing urges the sole axially outward.
Abstract:
This roller (10) comprises a tubular support structure (14) of horizontal axis (X-X) adapted to be rotatably mounted on a tractor-drawn support frame. A series of semi-hollow tyres with a dome-shaped profile are threaded onto this tubular support structure and enable a series of parallel furrows to be formed in the earth. The tubular support structure (14) comprises a framework formed by a plurality of bars (30) joined together by two circular end cheeks (32) between which these bars extend axially. The tyres (12) are mounted on the bars of the framework, forming with the latter an assembly that is connected for rotation and translation.
Abstract:
A ground surface treatment apparatus including a frame adapted to be operatively received by a ground ripping attachment of a self propelled vehicle, and a ground engaging implement carried by the frame for treating the ground surface is provided. The apparatus further includes a resiliently responsive linkage interposed between a portion of the frame and a portion of the ground ripping attachment such that the frame is resiliently responsive to ground ripping tool manipulations and ground surface contours.
Abstract:
A roller assembly for agricultural machinery is disclosed. The roller assembly includes at least one tube onto which tires are threaded, and two arms adapted to support the tube in rotation at both its ends. Each arm carries a suspension lever housed inside the tube and acted upon by a resilient recoil member. The suspension lever is mounted on the arm so as to be pivotable about a first rotation axis and supporting a shaft end which carries a flange fixed to the inside of the tube for the rotation of this tube about a second rotation axis parallel to the first rotation axis. The roller assembly applies particularly to the rollers of seed drills.
Abstract:
Pneumatic tire 1 for an agricultural machine, having an axis of revolution XX and comprising a tread 7, a sole 11 situated opposite the tread 7, and two sidewalls 13, 15 connecting the tread 7 to the sole 11. The tread 7, the sole 11 and the two sidewalls 13, 15 together form a casing 17 defining a chamber 19 inside the pneumatic tire 1. At least one of the sidewalls 13, 15 comprises, in this order and in succession in a direction oriented radially from the axis of revolution XX to the outside, a proximal portion 131, an intermediate portion 133 and a distal portion 135. In the unloaded state, the intermediate portion 133 projects into the chamber 19 in a direction substantially parallel to the axis of revolution XX.

Abstract:
The machine comprises a given number of roller pairs respectively connected to the machine frame by a linking part (32). The linking part (32) of each roller pair is adapted so as to enable the rollers (12a, 12b) to incline freely about a first roll axis (YY′) perpendicular to and coplanar with the longitudinal axis (XX′) of the rollers and about a second axis (HH′) parallel to the pitch axis of the frame (10), no matter what deformations of the road or terrain are encountered. Application in particular to seed drills for agricultural machines.
