摘要: Various analyte sensing apparatuses and associated housings are provided. Some apparatuses comprise one or more caps. Some apparatuses comprise a two-part adhesive patch. Some apparatuses comprise one or more sensor bends configured to locate and/or hold a sensor in place during mounting. Some apparatuses utilize one or more dams and/or wells to retain epoxy for securing a sensor. Some apparatuses utilize a pocket and one or more adjacent areas and various transitions for preventing epoxy from wicking to undesired areas of the apparatus. Some apparatuses include heat-sealable thermoplastic elastomers for welding a cap to the apparatus. Related methods of fabricating such apparatuses and/or housings are also provided.

摘要: The present disclosure provide techniques for near field communication (NFC)-based power control for an analyte sensor system. The analyte sensor system may include a power control sensor configured to detect whether a signal is applied to the power control sensor and, based on the detection, operate a power switch to control current flow from a battery of the analyte sensor system. The power control sensor may be configured to receive a first control signal from an analog front end (AFE) component of the analyte sensor system instructing the power control sensor to operate the power switch. The AFE component may be configured to receive a second set of control signals from an NFC reader device or one or more other electrical components of the analyte sensor system instructing the AFE component to output the first set of control signals for instructing the power control sensor to operate the power switch.

摘要: An integrated system for the monitoring and treating diabetes is provided, including an integrated receiver/hand-held medicament injection pen, including electronics, for use with a continuous glucose sensor. In some embodiments, the receiver is configured to receive continuous glucose sensor data, to calculate a medicament therapy (e.g., via the integrated system electronics) and to automatically set a bolus dose of the integrated hand-held medicament injection pen, whereby the user can manually inject the bolus dose of medicament into the host. In some embodiments, the integrated receiver and hand-held medicament injection pen are integrally formed, while in other embodiments they are detachably connected and communicated via mutually engaging electrical contacts and/or via wireless communication.

摘要: The present disclosure describes a multi-analyte sensor system. The system includes a first sensor with a first enzyme for a first analyte, a second sensor with a second enzyme for a second analyte different from the first analyte, a potentiostat, a memory, and a processor communicatively coupled to the memory. The potentiostat applies a first voltage to the first sensor to cause a first current to flow through the first sensor and applies a second voltage to the second sensor to cause a second current to flow through the second sensor. The processor determines, based on the first current, a level of the first analyte and determines, based on the second current, a level of the second analyte.

摘要: Systems and methods for processing, transmitting and displaying data received from an analyte sensor, such as a glucose sensor, are disclosed. In an embodiment, a method for transmitting data between a first communication device associated with an analyte sensor and a second communication device configured to provide user access to sensor-related information comprises: activating a transceiver of a first communication device associated with an analyte sensor at a first time; and establishing a two-way communication channel with the second communication device; wherein the activating comprises waking the transceiver from a low power sleep mode using a forced wakeup from the second communication device.

摘要: Systems and methods for a continuous monitoring of analyte values received from an analyte sensor system are provided. One method for a wireless data communication between an analyte sensor system and a mobile device involves storing identification information associated with a transceiver of the analyte sensor system, the identification information entered by a user of the mobile device via a custom application running on the mobile device; causing the custom application to enter a background mode; searching for advertisement signals; receiving an advertisement signal from the transceiver; authenticating the transceiver based on the identification information; prompting the user to bring the custom application to a foreground mode; causing the custom application to request a confirmation from the user that a data connection with the transceiver is desired; receiving the confirmation from the user; and completing the data connection with the transceiver.

摘要: Techniques for performing application-layer security are disclosed. In certain embodiments, analyte data may be obtained from an analyte sensor operatively coupled to a sensor electronics module of an analyte sensor system. Thereafter, the analyte data may be encrypted, in an application layer of a protocol stack of the sensor electronics module using a session key established between the analyte sensor system and a display device. The encrypted analyte data may then be transmitted to a display device.
