Abstract:
Disclosed is an apparatus and method for controlling driving of an auxiliary device in a computer. The computer would include an operating system (OS) having at least one of a keyboard controller driver and a system BIOS that controls the enabled/disabled status of an internal auxiliary device based on the attachment status of an external auxiliary device. The internal auxiliary device may be a keyboard, a touch pad, or a pointing stick. The external auxiliary device may be a USB mouse. A method embodying the invention may include the steps of: periodically checking whether an external auxiliary device has been attached/detached to/from the computer, and disabling or enabling driving of the internal device or the external device depending on the checking results.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to fat composition, more specifically relates to 60% to 99.9% by weight of diglyceride containing 0.1 to 89.9% by weight of conjugated linoleic acid; 0.001% to 0.2% by weight of banaba extracts fermented by microorganism such as Bacillus sp. or Aspergillus sp.; and the balance being monoglyceride, triglyceride or a mixture thereof. The fat composition of the present invention comprises fermented banaba extracts as an antioxidant, and the fat composition excels in oxidation stability and keeping stability, therefore the fat composition of the present invention may be widely used as cooking oil.
Abstract:
Disclosed are embodiments of a method and an apparatus for controlling a display mode in a portable computer. When a display mode of a liquid crystal display (LCD) is changed such as in response to a user's request, information of the changed display mode is stored being associated with a system mode. When a system is rebooted or the system mode is changed in a state in which the display mode information is stored, display mode information stored being associated with a current system mode is read, and the LCD display mode is set to an arbitrary display mode corresponding to the read display mode information. And, when a change of the LCD display mode is requested by the user, a wallpaper image for the requested display mode can be retrieved from among wallpaper images for display modes stored separately and displayed on the LCD.

Abstract:
Provided are a glyceride oil composition derived from a fish oil and a preparation method thereof. The composition includes docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and docosapentaenoic acid (DPA) with a content of 45 to 95% by weight and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) with a content of 0.001 to 13% by weight among constituent fatty acids, and a saturated fatty acid having 16 to 18 carbon atoms, which is bonded at 1- and 3-positions, with a content of 0.001 to 5% by weight among constituent fatty acids, in which a weight ratio of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)/docosapentaenoic acid (DPA) is 0.5 to 8 and a weight ratio of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)/eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) is 3.5 to 15. The glyceride oil composition derived from fish oil has nutritional and physiological superiority due to containing a great amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids such as DHA and DPA in a form of glyceride, and can minimize disadvantages of EPA such as inhibition of ω-6 fatty acid metabolism by containing a low amount of EPA. The glyceride oil composition is excellent in digestion and absorption of polyunsaturated fatty acids into a human body by containing a low amount of saturated fatty acids at 1- and 3-positions and process characteristics such as an oxidation stability and water-dispersibility.
Abstract:
A fat composition of high purity diglyceride containing conjugated linoleic acid and a preparation method thereof are provided. The fat composition comprises 85% to 99.9% by weight of diglyceride containing 0.1 to 80% by weight of conjugated linoleic acid, and the balance being monoglyceride, triglyceride or a mixture thereof. The fat composition can be used in highly functional food additives owing to conjugated linoleic acid having various functions of effecting anti-cancer activity, reducing human body fat, enhancing immunogenicity, and preventing and/or treating diabetes, and can be simply prepared at a high production yield.
