摘要: The present invention is directed to inorganic oxide particles that have been modified with a chelator group. In an embodiment, the chelator group is covalently bonded to a polymer. In an embodiment, the chelator group is covalently bonded to a chiral selector ligand. The present invention is also directed to methods of modifying inorganic oxide particles with a chelator group.

摘要: A composite particulate material useful in analytical separations processes includes a carbon coating deposited through chemical vapor deposition on a substantially metal-free inorganic oxide particle. The resultant laminate material may be tuned for desired sorption rates and selectivities with respect to analytes of interest.
