    摘要: A fiber blowing and filling machine comprising a hopper, a dispensing assembly located below the hopper, a drive assembly and a blower. The dispensing assembly comprises a housing having two longitudinally opposite apertures, namely, an air inlet aperture connected to the output of the blower and an exit aperture. The housing is equipped with a paddle mounted to a shaft that is above the apertures. The paddle is assembled from individual components, forming a plurality of vanes having flexible edges that contact the surfaces of the housing to create a pocket when the apertures are between a pair of the vanes. The fiber from the hopper flows into the housing and gets collected between a pair of the vanes, which rotate further to form the pocket. The fiber in the pocket is then blown out through the exit aperture by the air from the blower output.

    摘要: A new and distinct cultivar of early-season clingstone peach tree (i.e., Prunus persica) is provided. Attractive fruit is formed that is well suited for processing having uniform yellow flesh that is free from red staining at the pit cavity. The fruit color, flavor, and texture are believed to be superior to the ‘Dixon’ and ‘Andross’ cultivars (both non-patented in the United States). The fruit ripens at approximately four days earlier than the ‘Andross’ cultivar. The pink flowers are medium-sized and non-showy and the growth habit is upright-spreading.

    摘要: A radiation-sensitive photographic emulsion is disclosed containing a gelatino-vehicle and tabular grains accounting for at least 70 percent of total grain projected area comprised of, prior to house conversion, at least 90 mole percent bromide and, after house conversion, up to 12 mole percent iodide, based on total silver, having {111} major faces that form corners joined by linear edges, and containing halide conversion dislocations that are confined to corner regions. Superior performance and selected site halide conversion can be realized by maintaining a pBr of less than 3.5 and by employing for halide conversion an iodide ion source exhibiting a second order reaction rate constant with the gelatino-vehicle of less than 10.sup.-3 mole.sup.-1 sec.sup.-1.

    摘要: An equalizer for a suspension system for a trailer is configured to absorb or dampen the harsh shocks or vibrations coming off of the leaf springs proximate to a center frame hangar, thus allowing for a “softer” ride. The equalizer utilizes one or two independent equalizer arm assemblies or castings which are each rotatably secured within the equalizer. Each equalizer arm assembly or casting is operatively associated with one of the leaf springs such that upon upward movement of the leaf spring, the associated equalizer arm assembly or casting is forced to rotate within the equalizer and to deform a shock absorber provided within the equalizer. The shock absorber, upon the deformation thereof, absorbs the harsh shocks or vibrations which would otherwise normally be transferred from the leaf springs, to the equalizer, and thus to the frame of the trailer.
