摘要: Embodiments relate to a biodegradable and polymerizable polyester composition, to a biodegradable polyester resin prepared therefrom, and to a process for preparing the same. As the biodegradable and polymerizable polyester composition comprises an inorganic filler in a certain content and satisfies a certain range of viscosity, it has excellent dispersibility during polycondensation; thus, it is possible to control the content of metals in a biodegradable polyester resin prepared from the biodegradable polyester polymerization composition and the dispersion index within optimal ranges. In addition, as the biodegradable and polymerizable polyester composition comprising an inorganic filler is subjected to a polycondensation reaction, the dispersibility during the polycondensation reaction is very excellent, which can suppress the aggregation of inorganic filler particles and prevent filter clogging, resulting in a decrease in defects such as voids in the processing process. Thus, it is possible to provide a biodegradable film and molded article of excellent quality.

Since the biodegradable polyester resin can provide a biodegradable polyester sheet or film that can be simultaneously enhanced in productivity, processability, and moldability and is excellent in tensile strength, tear strength, and friction coefficient and excellent in biodegradability and water degradability, it can be utilized in more diverse fields.

摘要: The embodiments relate to a biodegradable polyester resin, to a process for preparing the same, and to a biodegradable polyester film comprising the same. As the biodegradable polyester resin has a polydispersity index (PDI) and a weight reduction rate satisfying specific ranges, all of the biodegradability, mechanical properties such as tensile strength and impact strength, and thermal resistance can be enhanced. In addition, when the biodegradable polyester resin is used to prepare a film, it is possible to prevent the incident of defects such as fumes, bubbles, and fisheyes, thereby enhancing processability and productivity. Accordingly, the biodegradable polyester resin according to the embodiment can be applied to various fields that require thermal resistance and moldability, such as medical devices or containers, disposable food containers, and the like, so that they would exhibit excellent characteristics.

The biodegradable polyester resin has peaks at a certain diffraction angle (2θ) in an X-ray diffraction spectrum (XRD), while it satisfies a crystal size in a specific range, whereby it has excellent crystallinity and thermal stability, and it is enhanced in all of the mechanical properties, dimensional stability, and moldability. Accordingly, the biodegradable polyester resin according to the embodiment can be applied to various fields that require thermal resistance, mechanical properties, dimensional stability, and moldability, such as packaging materials such as disposable bags and food containers, and automobile interior parts, so that they would exhibit excellent characteristics.
