摘要: The disclosure relates to rubber latex formed from any of: branched block copolymers derived from alkenyl aromatic hydrocarbon—1,3-diene monomer system, and branched polyisoprene homopolymers derived from isoprene. The polymers in embodiments are obtained by polymerization in the presence of an anionic initiator; at a temperature from 0° C. to 100° C.; followed by coupling with a multifunctional coupling agent of formula (R1O)3Si—Y—Si(OR2)3, wherein R1 and R2 are independently C1-C6 alkyl groups; and Y is a C2-C8 alkylene group. The polymers are obtained as rubber cements having high solids content and low zero shear viscosities. The rubber cements are valuable for making latices for further applications.

摘要: One object of the present invention is to provide an emulsion composition comprising a silicone and an emulsion of a resin having a film forming property, which emulsion composition may provide a coating agent which effectively exhibits slidability of silicone on a substrate, while maintaining transparency. Another object of the present invention is to provide a laminate having a film made of the coating agent. The present invention provides an emulsion composition comprising (I) an emulsion of a resin having a film forming property in a solid content of 60 to 99.9 parts by mass and (II) an emulsion of a silicone-acrylic core-shell resin in solid content of 0.1 to 40 parts by mass, a total mass of the solid contents of components (I) and (II) being 100 parts by mass, wherein a core of the silicone-acrylic core-shell resin (II) is composed of an organopolysiloxane (A), a shell layer of the silicone-acrylic core-shell resin (II) is composed of a poly(meth)acrylate ester (B), a mass ratio of the organopolysiloxane (A) to the poly(meth)acrylate ester (B) is in a range of 40:60 to 95:5, and a covering ratio by the poly(meth)acrylate ester on a surface of the silicone-acrylic core-shell resin is at least 50%.

摘要: The present invention relates to a fluorine-containing resin composition, and a resin vanish, a fluorine-containing dielectric sheet, a laminate, a copper clad laminate and a printed circuit board containing the same. The fluorine-containing resin composition comprises 30 wt. %-70 wt. % of a fluorine-containing polymer, 30 wt. %-70 wt. % of an inorganic filler which includes the following particle size distribution: D10 is greater than 1.5 μm; and D50 is 10-15 μm. In the present invention, the selection of an inorganic filler with a specific particle size distribution can ensure that the boards prepared by the fluorine-containing resin composition have excellent dielectric properties and voltage resistance performance, even if the inorganic filler is added in a large amount.

摘要: A plurality of multiphase polymer particles comprising an acrylic-based copolymer derived from monomers comprising: an alkyl methacrylate; an alkyl acrylate; a hydroxyalkyl acrylate or hydroxyalkyl methacrylate; at least one acid; a carboxyalkyl (meth)acrylate; a vinyl ester, and at least one co-polymerizable surfactant. Also disclosed is an emulsion comprising: a plurality of multiphase polymer particles comprising an acrylic-based copolymer, at least one co-polymerizable surfactant, at least one alkylphenol ethoxylate (APE) free nonionic surfactant, and at least one APE free anionic surfactant in an aqueous medium in presence of a free-radical initiator and a buffer. Another objective of this application discloses a water-dispersible acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive composition for label applications, a process for the preparation thereof and a method of bonding a label to a container with the composition.

摘要: The invention relates to a bitumen additive comprising a wax dispersed in water, the water being in the continuous phase and the wax in the dispersed phase; the wax comprising a Fischer-Tropsch wax and one or more hydrocarbon waxes selected from the group comprising petroleum-based waxes, polyolefin waxes, or mixtures thereof; and an emulsifier. The invention extends to a method to produce a foamed bitumen composition by adding a bitumen additive to a bitumen feedstock in a bitumen foaming device to produce the foamed bitumen, and to a method to produce an asphalt mix by adding a bitumen feedstock and a bitumen additive to an aggregate in an asphalt mixer to produce the asphalt mix.

In one aspect, the opacity providing polymer component is a hollow sphere polymer material. The opacity-providing polymer material may replace all or part of white opacifying pigment material, such as titanium dioxide. Also described herein is a method of opacifying a printing ink by adding hollow sphere resin particles and a colorant to a printing ink that comprises water as a volatile component.

摘要: A water- and oil-repellent agent that is an aqueous dispersion containing (A) a fluorine-free polymer having repeating units derived from a fluorine-free (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer, (B) a wax, (C) an aqueous medium, and (D) an emulsifier. The fluorine-free (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer is a compound represented by the formula CH2═CA11-C(═O)—O-A12 where A11 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group and A12 is a linear or branched C18-30 hydrocarbon group. The emulsifier includes a sorbitan ester and another emulsifier, and the emulsifier has a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) of 7.5 to 13.5. Also disclosed is a method of producing the water- and oil-repellent agent and a method of producing a treated substrate by applying the water- and oil-repellent agent to a substrate.
