摘要： To provide a sheet processing device that performs saddle stitching processing that binds a bundle of stacked paper sheets at a position around a center thereof and then folds in half the paper sheet bundle at the binding portion, the device being capable of selectively performing both saddle stitching using a metallic staple and saddle stitching not using the metallic staple for environmental protection and capable of reducing a size.A sheet processing device includes a stacker section that temporarily stacks conveyed paper sheets in a substantially vertical attitude, a stopper that regulates the paper sheets stacked in the stacker section, a first binding section that is provided in the stacker and saddle-stitches, with a metallic staple, a paper sheet bundle at a binding position around a center of the paper sheet bundle in a sheet conveying direction, a second binding section that saddle-stitches, without using the metallic staple, the paper sheet bundle at the binding position around the center of the paper sheet bundle in the sheet conveying direction, and a folding section that folds in half the paper sheet bundle. An interval between the second binding section and folding section is set smaller than an interval between the first binding section and folding section.

摘要： A sheet post-processing device includes a conveying section that conveys the paper sheet, a punch section that punches punch holes in the paper sheet conveyed by the conveying section, a stacker section that stores the paper sheet in which the punch holes are punched by the punch section, a stopper section that regulates a conveying direction leading end of the paper sheet stored in the stacker section; a binding section that binds the paper sheet bundle whose leading end is regulated by the stacker section, and a folding section that folds the paper sheet bundle bound by the binding section at a predetermined folding position. The punch section punches the punch holes at the front and rear of the folding position in the sheet conveying direction, and the binding section binds the paper sheet bundle with a paper-made staple by making the paper-made staple penetrate the punch holes. With this configuration, there can be provided a sheet-post processing device capable of easily generating a booklet for simple ring binding.

摘要： An adhesive application device that applies an adhesive onto each of sequentially conveyed paper sheets, includes: a device frame; a bonding member that delivers the adhesive for bonding the paper sheets to each other; a plurality of bonding units that is arranged in a sheet width direction and each has the bonding member; a support member that supports the bonding units on the device frame so as to be movable between a bonding position at which each bonding unit presses its bonding member to apply the adhesive onto the paper sheet and a separated position separated from the bonding position; and a moving member that moves the plurality of bonding units to the bonding position with timing shifted. Thus, it is possible to move the bonding units with a smaller drive force than in a case where the bonding units are moved simultaneously.

摘要： Provided is a sheet processing device that conveys a paper sheet onto which an adhesive is applied, the device including: a bonding member that applies adhesives onto the conveyed paper sheet at intervals in a sheet width direction; and a protruding guide that is positioned on a conveying path, downstream of the boding member in a sheet conveying direction and guides the paper sheet, facing an adhesive-applied surface of the paper sheet, the protruding guide being positioned between sheet width direction lines of the adhesive-applied position and including a protruding portion protruding into the conveying path. With this configuration, it is possible to suppress the adhesive from being adhered to a device component even in a configuration in which an adhesive-applied paper sheet is moved inside the device to make a sheet jam due to the adhesion less likely to occur.
