摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a filtering and condensing apparatus of the suction type which is capable of securing the filtering performance without deteriorating the filtering efficiency.A filtering and condensing apparatus of a suction type comprises a sludge tank for containing sludge to be filtered and condensed, and a filtering plate disposed to be in the sludge tank and extending in the vertical direction of the sludge tank. The filtering plate includes vertical extending convex and concave portions on its surface, and a filtering cloth in a bag form to house the supporting plate, whereby a filtering chamber is formed between the filtering cloth and the filtering plate and a main flow passage for the filtrate which vertically extends is formed between the inner surface of the filtering cloth and the concave portion of the supporting plate. The apparatus further includes a means for sucking the filtering cloth through the filtering chamber, a means for expanding the filtering cloth through the filtering chamber by feeding an air toward the filtering cloth via the filtering chamber, and a filtrate discharge tube one end of which is communicated with the filtering chamber. The lateral length of the filtering cloth is set to be longer than the lateral length of the supporting plate over its entire vertical direction, whereby, in a case where the sludge in the sludge tank is filtered and condensed under the predetermined negative pressure by the sucking means, a temporary sub-flow passage for the filtrate which is communicated with the filtering chamber and extends in the vertical direction of the filtering chamber is formed.

摘要: An electric rotary machine, an armature for use in the electric machine, a method of forming an electric rotary machine and a forming machine for an armature of an electric rotary machine are disclosed wherein insulator-coated coils are wound in slots of an armature core from which lower and upper layer coil extensions extend and are connected to a commutator. The upper layer coil extension has a contour deformation part at an intersecting region where the lower and upper layer coil extensions intersect with each other to have an insulating distance between the lower and upper layer coil extensions. The forming machine includes a work holder holding the armature, and a forming jig forming a curvature portion on the upper layer coil extension.

摘要: A liquid crystal display is disclosed. The liquid crystal display has a driving substrate on which transparent pixel electrodes are formed; a counter substrate on which a counter electrode is formed; and a liquid crystal material disposed between the driving substrate and the counter substrate, molecules of the liquid crystal material being oriented orthogonally to the substrates. The driving substrate has pixel capacitors and pixel transistors formed thereon, the pixel capacitors being disposed under the pixel electrodes, the pixel transistors acting to write signal voltages to the pixel electrodes and to the pixel capacitors. The pixel electrodes have slits formed over the pixel capacitors to orient the molecules of the liquid crystal material orthogonally and in a split manner. Each of the pixel capacitors has an electrode for reflecting light and forms a reflective region. Thickness of portions of the liquid crystal material present in the reflective regions is greater than half of thickness of portions of the liquid crystal material present in transmissive regions other than the reflective regions.

摘要: In a normally black mode liquid crystal display, the liquid crystal display and the method prevents the light leakage arising from existing the step for adjusting the thickness of the liquid crystal layer between the reflective electrode and the transparent electrode and that high contrast displaying can be possible. The interval adjustment layer is formed between the first substrate that the reflective electrode is formed in the reflective region and the transparent electrode is formed in the transmissive region, and the second substrate that is fixed at predetermined interval from the first substrate. This interval adjustment layer is adjuster of the thickness of the liquid crystal layer in the reflective region on the second substrate, and the thickness of the liquid crystal layer in the reflective region is preferable to be set approximately the thickness of the liquid crystal layer of the transmissive region.

摘要: An ozone generator is formed of at least one ozone-generating pipe, a feed gas chamber connected to one side of the ozone-generating pipe, and an ozonized gas chamber connected to the other side of the ozone-generating pipe. When an oxygen-containing feed gas is supplied to the ozone-generating pipe through the feed gas chamber, the feed gas is subjected to silent discharge in a gap between a ground electrode and a high-voltage electrode in the ozone-generating pipe to thereby allow the feed gas to change to an ozonized gas, which is then fed to the ozonized gas chamber. Gas-permeable flame-propagation-preventing members are arranged to sandwich the discharge gap therebetween to prevent outward propagation of ozonized gas decomposition flame in case the frame is induced to the ozonized gas by spark discharge in the ozone-generating pipe. The ozone generator can be used safely.
