摘要: A system searches for, and verifies, according to certain criteria, a database of records, typically call records generated during the testing of a telecommunications network after software or hardware updates have been applied to the system. Multiple instances of collecting and decoding processes embodied in stored programs running in a computer system act upon blocks of incoming data records to store both a raw image of the received data and a pre-parsed version of the data suitable for database searching and retrieval. Three-step partitioned processing comprises a set of collector processes for collecting data records, a set of decoder processes for decoding and parsing such records, and a set of loader processes for loading records into a database. A client can request certain call records or request verification of certain records. A rules mechanism embodied in stored templates operates to tie client requests to asynchronously received data.

摘要: An engine cooling system include a ring-type cooling fan (10) that includes a central hub (12), a plurality of blades (11) projecting radially from the hub (12) and an outer circumferential ring (15) connected to the blade tips (17). In one aspect of the invention, the outer ring (15) includes a flared rim (28) at the outlet side (10b) of the fan (10) that improves the stackability and stability of multiple fans. In another aspect of the invention, each of the blades (11) includes a support vane (30) defined on the rear face (25) of the blade (11). The support vane (30) is curved to follow the curvature of the airflow (F) across the back (25) of the fan blades (11). Each support vane (30) originates at the blade root (19) and terminates at the trailing edge (11b) of the blade in the first half of the blade length. The support vanes (30) provide first mode stiffness for the fan (10). In certain embodiments, a support ring (35) is defined at the central hub (12) inboard of the support vanes (30). A vane support superstructure (37) is configured between the support vanes (30) and the support ring (35) to react the aerodynamic loads experienced by the support vanes (30). A further support superstructure (37) can be configured between the support ring (35) and the central hub (12). Other features of the invention provide a stress-reducing blend region (20) between the blade tips (17) and the flared rim (28) of the outer ring (15), and an improved blade geometry.

摘要: A method of and system for managing telecommunications system testing. The system displays a list of available originating and terminating bulk call generators. The user can graphically select the bulk call generators to be used in the test and can communicate with selected bulk call generators through the interface. The system also displays a list of available test case scripts. The system enables the user to formulate a mix of scripts to be executed by displaying a control for each selected test case script. The system further enables a user to designate different mixes of scripts for selected time periods over a test run. The system then assigns each script to a call program and a group of call programs to a set. The system then starts the set at the user predefined time. The system the stops the set and resets each call program and set based on the previously chosen call mixes.

摘要: A method of and system for managing access by a plurality of users to a plurality of application programs by maintaining a security database accessible by each of said application programs. In response to an attempted access to one of the application programs by one of the users, the application queries the security database for access information for the user. In response to the query, the security database returns access information to said the application program. The application program limits use of the application program-by the user according to the access information returned from the security database.

摘要: A cooling fan assembly (10) includes a hubless polymer fan body molded around the perimetrical flange (20) of a metallic mounting hub (12). The fan body includes a circumferential ring (18) interlocked with the flange (20) and a plurality of fan blades (16) projecting outwardly from the ring (18). The fan body (14) is formed in an injection mold with molten polymer material being introduced into the mold at hot runner locations (25) disposed between the circumferential ring (18) and the root diameter (17) of the fan blades (16). At one face of the hubless fan (14), the circumferential ring (18) includes a plurality of uniformly spaced raised bosses (30). Each boss (30) defines a bore (31) configured to receive a balancing weight therein, preferably in the form of a balancing screw (35) threaded into the bore. The bosses (30) are interconnected by a stiffening ring (33) having a height substantially equal to the height (h) of the bosses (30). The stiffening ring (33) is modified between a plurality of pairs of bosses (30) to define a recessed flat (38). On the opposite face of the hubless fan (14), the circumferential ring (18) includes a plurality of raised tabs (40), arranged and configured to mate within a corresponding recessed flat (38). The corresponding recessed flats (38) and raised tabs (40) nest between stacked fan assemblies (10) to enhance the stability and increase the number and height of stacked sets of assemblies.

摘要: A grain drying and conditioning apparatus having a housing with an outer pervious skin with impervious end walls, air inlet, grain inlet, grain outlet and air exhaust duct structures connected thereto has air pervious walls which are spaced within the structure for confining a column of grain to be dried. A blower and heater mechanism is also connected to the housing for causing heated air to be forced through a first zone of the column of grain in one direction to heat and extract moisture therefrom and simultaneously causing air for cooling the grain to be pulled through a second zone of the grain column in an opposite direction, or, by simple adjustments, to be pushed in the same direction as the flow of the heated air. A plenum chamber is formed between the innermost of the pervious walls, the air duct structure, and a rear bulkhead wall opposite the air duct structure; an adjustable plenum divider mechanism is provided between the innermost of the pervious walls and the air duct structure in the plenum chamber for selectively dividing the plenum chamber into a first and a second section for the purpose of optimizing the heating and cooling of the grain in the first and second zones, or for combining both zones of the plenum chamber for optimum heated air drying in the entire structure.Air recycling structure and specific air control devices for regulating the volume of exhaust air versus recycled air in the exhaust areas of the dryer is provided for blending unsaturated exhaust heated air which was forced through the lower portion of the first zone (drying zone) of the grain column area by pressure with incoming cooling air drawn through the second zone (cooling zone) of the grain column area by suction to save the energy in such heated air.

摘要: A continuous grain drying and conditioning apparatus of a type including a burner and blower, or a multiplicity of burners and blowers, surrounded by a plenum chamber, air pervious grain holding walls positioned outwardly with respect to the plenum chamber is characterized by having a plenum divider which is selectively adjustable in position to divide the grain holding walls into a heating section and a cooling section. A multiplicity of grain turning apparatus of full and partial width of the grain column is disposed in the grain column for separating the grain mass into two or more separate divisions and then turning the cooler-wetter grain inwardly as it moves downwardly and turning the hotter-dryer grain outwardly as it moves downwardly in the grain column. Grain is constantly removed from the bottom of the apparatus at a rate governed by the average temperature of the air exiting the grain at a point adjacent the position of the plenum divider and a point closer to the input of the grain. Grain to be dried and conditioned is constantly introduced into the top of the apparatus at a rate that satisfies the rate of discharge of the dried and conditioned grain as it is delivered out of the bottom of the apparatus. Structure and management is also provided for controlled recycling of unsaturated exhaust air back through the dryer, whereby, the exhaust air is selectively proportioned and controlled based on the degree of saturation of the lower portion of the exhaust air.
