摘要： Apparatus and method for removing a set of linear objects such as helically coiled turbolaters (11) from a container (12) of objects, comprising a cover (17) including holes (37) from which air is drawn to cause some of the objects (11) to engage the underside of the cover (17) and an obturator plate for reducing the air flow through the holes (37) so that the objects (11) correctly engaged with the cover will detach from the cover (17). A feed mechanism is also provided to insert the helically coiled objects (11) into the tubes (13) of a radiator (14).

摘要： An improved apparatus for the plating of the contact elements of encapsulated electronic components - suitably of the type known as P-Dip strips - is provided with a continuous flexible parts-carrier belt of stainless steel, running in a horizontally aligned loop, with the web of the belt vertical. In the lower edge of the belt an array of flexible gripping fingers is formed, provided with projections, suitable for engagement by laterally disposed cams, on alternating sides of the belt for successive grip fingers. A loading device, co-ordinated with the operation of the cams, presents a part to be plated into the gripping fingers during an interval when the belt is stationary and the cams have been activated to separate the tips of the grip fingers. Upon retraction of the cams the parts are securely held by the grip fingers and moved through the plating stations upon the activation of belt motion. After plating, the parts are released by cam action on the grip fingers.

摘要： An electric vehicle is provided. The vehicle includes a frame. A battery and a motor may be secured to the frame, such that the battery powers the motor which drives the vehicle. The vehicle may further include at least one axle including a plurality of wheels. A manual steering mechanism including a steering column is operable to pivot the wheels when the steering column is rotated. An overhead frame protrudes vertically from the main frame. A steering drive shaft is supported by the overhead frame and is operable to pivot the wheels when rotated. A head unit is secured to the steering drive shaft and includes a positive electrode and a negative electrode electrically wired to the battery. The head unit is operable to engage an overhead track. The overhead track transfers electrical power to the positive electrode and negative electrode, thereby recharging the battery and driving the motor while steering the electric vehicle.

A dome having a second opening therethrough and has an upstream side and a downstream side. 摘要： A stent based apparatus and method for directing external beam radiation comprising a series of devices and a system of implanting these devices within a patient to direct therapeutic radiation given to the patient. Each of the devices can deliver a tiny gold fiducial (or fiducial constructed of another material capable of acting as a target to direct external beam therapeutic radiation) to a target area in the vicinity of a cancer or other lesion that is considered an appropriate target for external beam radiation therapy, using, for example, the beam radiation system referred to as the Cyberknife radiation delivery system. The current system and devices envision placement of gold fiducials through hollow organs in the body (for example, the gastrointestinal tract, the ureter, blood vessels, bile duct, or the cerebro spinal fluid space). This implantation method can utilize conventional endoscopy or angiography.
