摘要： A razor blade unit for safety razor has optimized shape and dimensions for body shaving, especially the regions of the axillae. The blade unit has an elongate blade with a rectilinear sharpened edge, and a skin contacting surface at which the length is 1 to 4 times the width and not greater than about 60 mm, e.g., 40 to 45 mm. The skin contacting surface has a footprint area of at least 450 mm2, e.g., 600 to 750 mm2, and a circularity which is not less than the lower of (i) 65%, and (ii) the circularity of a rectangle with the same length and width as the skin contacting surface and with corner radii of 30% of the width. In a plane perpendicular to the blade edge the skin contacting surface is convex and shaped to make at least a three point contact with an imaginary circumscribing circle with a radius of 15 to 70 mm, e.g., 25 mm. Guard cap surfaces in front of and behind the blade edge each have a skin contact area of at least 140 mm2,and their combined area is preferably at least 400 mm2, e.g., 450 to 500 mm2. A useful shape is rectangular with semi-circular ends.

摘要： A novel class of compounds has been identified that inhibit PTP-1B through a newly discovered binding interaction. Methods of treating, preventing or delaying the onset of, conditions mediated by PTP-1B are also provided. The compounds are capable of interacting with the primary binding pocket of PTP-1B via a hydrogen bond acceptor and have an aqueous phase free energy more positive than about −1200 kJ/mol. Representative compounds in the class are those of Formula I: or an optical isomer, enantiomer, diastereomer, racemate or racemic mixture thereof, ester, prodrug or metabolite form, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein R1, R2 and/or R3 are independently hydrogen atoms or alkyl groups and G1 and G2 are aryl, heteroaryl, alkyl, arylalkanyl, arylalkenyl, arylalkynyl, heteroarylalkanyl, heteroarylalkenyl, or heteroarylalkynyl moieties.

摘要： The present invention provides a process for producing cefaclor crystalline bulk material having a dissolution rate in a capsule of ≧80% in water in 30 minutes. One process route includes reducing the water content of cefaclor dihydrates or bulk material containing cefaclor dihydrate to produce a cefaclor form having a water content ≦2%. The cefaclor having the lower water content can then be rehydrated to a water content from 3.0 to 6.5% without adversely affecting the dissolution rate. An alternative process includes the addition of at least 0.05% of cefaclor related substances to inhibit conversion of the monohydate to the dihydate form.
