    Abstract: An extraneous-matter removing apparatus according to an embodiment includes a connector, a detector, and a removal unit. The connector is connected with a branch wire branching from a camera wire. The camera wire transmits a start-up signal for starting up a camera provided outside of a vehicle. The detector detects the start-up signal flowing through the branch wire connected with the connector. The removal unit performs, when the detector detects the start-up signal, a removing operation of an extraneous matter attached to the camera.

    Abstract: A driving circuit according to an embodiment includes a driving unit, a first temperature detecting unit, an overheat protecting unit, a second temperature detecting unit, and a failure diagnosing unit. The driving unit supplies a driving current to a load based on a control signal input from a controller. The overheat protecting unit blocks supply of the driving current to the load when the level of the signal output from the first temperature detecting unit exceeds a temperature threshold. The failure diagnosing unit blocks supply of the driving current to the load and outputs a signal of a level corresponding to a temperature out of a temperature range detectable by the second temperature detecting unit to the controller when it is determined that the first temperature detecting unit breaks down.

    Abstract: When a microcomputer does not charge an electric storage device, the microcomputer activates at an interval set based on a timer set value and determines whether an electric power voltage generated by a solar cell is equal to or higher than an electric power generation determination threshold. When the generated electric power voltage is lower than the electric power generation determination threshold, the microcomputer turns to a sleep state after increasing the timer set value by an addition set value while prohibiting charging the electric storage device. When the generated electric power voltage is equal to or higher than the electric power generation determination threshold and a generated electric power amount is equal to or larger than an electric power generation determination threshold, the microcomputer starts charging the electric storage device so the electric power device can be appropriately charged with an electric power generated by the solar cell.

    Abstract: An electric storage apparatus according to one aspect of an embodiment includes a battery unit, a determination unit, a virtual processing unit, and a connection controlling unit. The battery unit includes storage batteries to be connected in parallel. The determination unit determines, when the battery unit is started up, a startup type indicating a discharge start or a charge start. The virtual processing unit generates connection orders. Each of the connection orders is obtained by virtually and sequentially connecting in parallel storage batteries, of the storage batteries, having potential differences within a predetermined range so as to equalize electric potentials of the storage batteries. The connection controlling unit selects, among from the connection orders, a connection order in which the equalized electric potential is an electric potential according to the startup type determined by the determination unit, so as to connect in parallel the storage batteries.
