摘要: A food support surface is elevated by legs or sidewalls to raise a food product above the floor of the microwave to promote even cooking of the food product. Portions of the side walls extend above the food support surface to provide food product control. The side walls are configured to permit easy access to the food product, thus facilitating removal of the food product from the support surface. A susceptor is disposed on the food support surface to provide conductive heating of the portions of the food product contacting the susceptor during microwave heating. The material and construction of the cooking apparatus provides increased rigidity and support for the food product, while also facilitating cool handling of the cooking apparatus after microwave cooking is complete.

摘要: A method is provided for the continuous production of treated waters using a staged, tapered array membrane plant by a process of process-logic-controlled (PLC) stage or stage increment isolation and removal from service, washing and return-to-service concurrent with the continued operation of all other stages and/or stage increments of the plant. Specifically, there are plant mounted input/output sensors that supply the PLC with the data required to identify the location and degree of “fouling” of the individual stages or stage increments of a tapered array membrane water treatment plant, where fouling is defined as a loss of water flow through a membrane surface at a given pressure when compared to a water flow standard for the surface. When a stage or stage increment of a plant is defined by this process to be “fouled,” the PLC commands the initiation of a sequence of automated valve openings and closings to a) remove the fouled stage or stage increment from feed water treatment service, b) to flush and wash the stage or stage increment, and c) to return the stage or stage increment to feed water treatment service. Optionally the PLC function can be extended to include the monitoring and control of ancillary valves and a variable-frequency-drive feed water pump to command the parts of a plant that remain on-line during the process of a stage or stage increment wash to continue to produce more, or less, or volumetrically identical amounts of membrane water treatment process permeate by combinations of valve re-settings, pump speed adjustments, and stage-to-stage intermediate water diversion.

摘要: A method of an application to identify wireless peripherals in an iOS environment or other environment when peripheral identification information such as address is limited or not available. The application assigns a unique identifier to each peripheral as it connects to a wireless network such as Bluetooth. The unique identifier is a settable/readable parameter that the operating system assigns as a property to the wireless peripheral, for example audio volume. The application assigns a unique value to the identifier for each peripheral, and if the parameters are equal for two or more peripherals, the values are slightly adjusted to be different. The application is particularly useful for keeping track of multiple Bluetooth headsets.

摘要: A system for diagnosing vehicle problems that may include a client device and central device. The client device may include a connector to connect to a vehicle and a vehicle interface to send and receive information from the vehicle. The client may also include an input/output system, a processor, and a communication system to communicate with the central device. The client device may capture a vehicle identification number (VIN) and may transmit the captured VIN along with geographic information to the central device. In response to received instructions from the central device, the client device may passively capture diagnostic information from the vehicle and transmit the diagnostic information to the central device. In response to the diagnostic information, the central device may transmit further instructions to the client device.

摘要: An easy opening feature to open a sealed and taped carton, such as a partially perforated tab, adjacent an opening in an end panel of the carton where an adhesive strip is placed over a top panel of the carton and extends down the end panel and over at least a portion of the tab. Upon removing the tab from the carton the adhesive strip is removed along with the tab. A method for opening the carton comprises applying a force to lift up on the partially perforated tab to remove the tab from the carton and to continue lifting upward to remove the remainder of the adhesive strip from the top panel.
