摘要: A telephone enclosure including curved sidewalls each having an outer panel, an inner panel, an acoustic panel and a body rail assembly. The body rail assembly comprises a plurality of rails, each of which have depending legs to receive the inner panel, outer panel and acoustic insulation panel. The enclosure further includes a back panel having one end mounted to the sidewalls, which together horizontally cover at least 180.degree., leaving an open front access to the enclosure. A support base mounts to another end of the post and a device for receiving a telephone. Further, the enclosure includes a ceiling assembly mounted to the housing assembly. The ceiling assembly includes spaced apart ceiling plates, a ceiling rail arrangement having a plurality of legs defining ceiling panel receiving slots to receive a translucent panel. The ceiling includes a light source to illuminate the translucent panel and the interior of the panel assembly. A shelf mounts to the sidewalls.

摘要: An improved drive mechanism for rotating a sweep arm in a storage structure that contains a free-flowing stored material. The inner end of the sweep arm is mounted on a turntable that is disposed in the inner end of a radially extending trough in the foundation of the storage structure. The turntable is provided with a pair of spaced, concentric, downwardly extending flanges, and a plurality of ribs connect the upper portions of the spaced flanges. The spaces between the ribs define upwardly diverging passages. A drive pin is positioned beneath each rib and extends between the spaced flanges. The teeth of a drive sprocket are engageable with the drive pins, and rotation of the sprocket acts to rotate the turntable and thus rotate the sweep arm around the structure to dislodge the stored material. As the drive sprocket is rotated, any stored material in the vicinity of the drive pins is extruded upwardly through the passages by the sprocket teeth to prevent possible jamming of the drive mechanism. In addition, the roots of the sprocket teeth are provided with relief and the sprocket teeth are tapered to aid in the removal of the stored material from the drive mechanism.

摘要: A pre-assembled turntable mounting unit for a storage structure. The storage structure is mounted on a foundation having a radial trough extending from the center of the structure to the exterior. A pre-assembled turntable mounting unit is disposed in the inner end of the trough at the center of the storage structure. The turntable mounting unit includes a fixed mounting ring which rests on the upper surface of the foundation bordering the trough and a plurality of angle-shaped roller support brackets are supported on the ring. A turntable, which supports the inner end of a rotatable sweep arm, is mounted for rotation on rollers carried by the roller brackets. By removing the anchor bolts the entire turntable mounting unit can be readily removed from the storage structure. The drive transmission that acts to rotate the sweep arm about its axis is mounted in a pre-established position on a platform suspended in the trough from the turntable mounting ring.

摘要: A sweep arm construction for a bottom unloading mechanism used to unload generally free flowing material from a silo or storage structure. The sweep arm is mounted to rotate about the center of the silo and undercut the stored material and convey it to the center of the silo where it is delivered to a discharge auger that operates in a radially extending trough in the silo foundation. The sweep auger is composed of a series of shaft sections of different diameters with the innermost shaft section having the largest diameter. A helical flight is associated with each shaft section and the flight on each shaft section has a progressively increasing radial depth in a direction toward the inner end of the sweep arm to provide a uniformly increasing rate of delivery to the auger.

摘要: A push arm assembly for eccentrically operating a ratchet gear by means of a driving pawl to rotate an unloader arm in the bottom of a silo or the like. Directional change of the driving pawl is accomplished by withdrawing the driving pawl into its housing and rotating it 180.degree. and then releasing it to place the pawl in engagement with the ratchet to drive the latter in the predetermined forward or reverse rotation. The driving pawl also can then be rotated 90.degree. into a position out of engagement with the ratchet when rotation of the unloader arm is not desired. A holding pawl is also employed in conjunction with the driving pawl to restrain the ratchet during the period of oscillation when the driving pawl disengages the ratchet and recedes to engage the next tooth on the ratchet. Directional change of the holding pawl and disengagement from the ratchet is accomplished in the same manner as the driving pawl.

摘要: A sprocket construction for a zero caternary chain. In a zero caternary chain, a tensioning system is utilized to prevent caternary or slack in the chain and as a result of the high degree of tensioning, the bushings of the chain ride against the roots of the sprocket teeth. To prevent erosion of the sprocket teeth and bushings, the root diameter is modified to provide an enlarged operating pitch diameter for a predetermined increase in pitch length of the link. The pitch line clearance is enlarged so that it is equal to 2% to 25% of the working pitch diameter and produces a pressure angle of 20.degree. to 40.degree..

摘要: An overload mechanism for the drive system of a bottom silo unloader. The silo unloader includes a sweep arm mounted to rotate about the center of the silo and operable to dislodge stored material and convey the dislodged material to a delivery trough formed in the foundation. An overload mechanism is incorporated in the drive system for rotating the sweep arm about the silo, and the overload mechanism includes a drive pawl operably connected to a drive member of the drive system and disposed to be driven in a reciprocating path. A rotatable ratchet having a series of teeth is mounted to be engaged by the interruption drive pawl and engagement of the ratchet teeth by the drive pawl will incrementally rotate the ratchet in one direction. In addition, a holding pawl is engaged with the ratchet teeth to prevent rotation of the ratchet in the opposite direction. The ratchet is mounted on one end of a shaft and a sprocket is connected to the other end of the shaft and is located at the center of the silo. The sprocket in turn is engageable with a turntable, and the inner end of the sweep arm is mounted on the turntable and disposed to rotate with the turntable about the axis of the silo. A resilient member, such as a spring, interconnects the drive pawl and the drive member so that interruption of the rotation of the sweep arm due to engagement of the sweep arm with a densely packed area of stored material will cause compression of said resilient member and enable the drive pawl to move in its reciprocating path without corresponding rotation of the ratchet. This action permits the sweep arm to oscillate and back away from the densely packed area.

摘要: A drive mechanism for rotating the sweep arm of a bottom silo unloader. The silo, which contains a stored material, is mounted on a foundation and a trough is located in the foundation and extends from the center of the silo to the exterior. A sweep arm is mounted for rotation with respect to the center of the silo and acts to dislodge stored material and convey the dislodged material to the trough where a discharge conveyor mounted in the trough conveys the dislodged material to the exterior of the silo. The drive mechanism for rotating the sweep arm about the silo includes a drive shaft extending within the trough, and the inner end of the drive shaft carries a sprocket which is engageable with a plurality of circumferentially spaced drive pins mounted on a turntable that carries the inner end of the sweep arm. Rotation of the sprocket will correspondingly rotate the turntable and sweep arm about the center of the silo. The turntable is provided with a plurality of holes which are located between the drive pins so that the teeth of the drive sprocket will force the stored material lodged between the drive pins upwardly through the holes to thereby clean the area between the drive pins and prevent jamming of the drive mechanism.

摘要: The deck of a paddle tennis court includes a plurality of extruded aluminum members each having a horizontal playing surface and a pair of base legs each having a foot section with an outwardly facing wedge-shaped edge. The upper deck section is attached to the I beam superstructure underneath by a plurality of clamps. A double clamp is employed from above to bridge the foot portions of the upper deck sections. The double clamps are connected by a threaded bolt and nut combination to single clamps which are attachable to the wedge-shaped edges of the transverse underlying I beams. The construction of the double clamps is such that the upper deck sections are separated from each other by a predetermined gap suffficient to allow acces to the space between the deck plates. Each court also includes a spring-loaded sidewall and a diagonal external support which is connected to one of the extended underlying I beams. The structure described is relatively inexpensive to manufacture, simple to erect and easy to maintain.
