摘要： A padlock has a lock body comprising a housing, furthermore a lock hoop adjustably secured to the lock body, a lock cylinder accommodated in the housing and a latching mechanism accommodated in the housing. The latching mechanism enables a latching of the hoop to the lock body. The latching mechanism releases at least one end of the hoop on an opening actuation of the lock cylinder so that this hoop end can be removed from the lock body. The housing consists of an electrically insulating material at least at the outer side. The hoop and the lock cylinder are electrically insulated from one another by an additional measure.

摘要： A rekeyable padlock comprises a lock housing, a generally U-shaped recess formed in said lock housing and having an entry side, a guide channel defined within said housing, a shackle movable within said channel between an open position in which it is retracted into said housing and frees said entry side of said recess, and a closed position in which it is partly located outside of said housing and closes off said entry side, a lock cylinder, means removably mounting said lock cylinder in said lock housing, a cam movable by said lock cylinder and having an abutment member engageable with said shackle to move said shackle from said open position to said closed position and vice verse, a latch member biased into position in front of a shoulder of said mounting means prohibiting withdrawal of said lock cylinder and means accessible through said recess when said shackle is in said open position, but not when said shackle is in said closed position, for releasing said latch member from said shoulder to permit withdrawal of said lock cylinder from said lock housing and replacement of said lock cylinder by a substitute lock cylinder

摘要： A padlock body is formed with a pair of bores which can receive short and long legs of a U-shaped shackle. The long leg has a free end spaced from a relatively deep notch and is formed between the free end and the notch with a relatively shallow circumferential groove and is further formed with a flat extending from a floor of the relatively shallow groove to the respective notch. Respective balls are displaceable between a locked position projecting radially far into the respective bores and engaging in the respective notches of both legs and an unlocked position with only the ball of the bore of the long leg projecting radially a little into the respective bore. A locking element in the body operated by a cylinder has an outer surface bearing radially on the balls and formed with relatively shallow recesses and, offset angularly from one of the shallow recesses, with a relatively deep recess. The balls are seated in the shallow recesses in the unlocked position and ride on the outer surface outside the recesses in the locked position. The long-leg recess is so deep that in the unlocked position this ball projects into the long-leg bore and inhibits axial withdrawal of the long leg from the body. The deep recess is so deep that in the unlocked position the respective ball can move substantially wholly out of the long-leg recess and thereby permit axial withdrawal of the long leg from the body.
