The lock body has a lock unit and a restricting unit. The lock unit can restrict or release the restricting unit to allow the restricting unit to movably restrict or release the cable. The cable thereby extends or retracts in this manner. The loop connector has a connector body that includes a first through hole and a second through hole. The first through hole and the second through hole are adjacent to each other, wherein the normal direction of the cross section of the first through hole is perpendicular to the normal direction of the cross section of the second through hole. When the cable passing through the lock body passes through the loop connector, the cable forms a plurality of loops at the lock body with the loop connector and the lock body to secure and protect one or more articles from being stolen.

    摘要： This invention is a tamper-resistant enclosure for a coin-operated vending apparatus and the like wherein the locking device is fixedly attached to and mounted internally of the enclosure making it less vulnerable to theft and vandalism. The locking mechanism includes a ring-shaped hanging lock that is attached by weldment to an interior end wall of the enclosure. The lock is positioned in substantial alignment with an aperture in the front end wall to permit operation of the lock from the exterior of the enclosure by a key. The top cover includes an integrally formed locking flange which passes through a slotted opening in the end wall adjacent the lock such that the lock is positioned in an operative relationship with an aperture in the locking flange when the slideable top is in a closed position enabling the enclosure to be secured. The enclosure is adaptable to use for vending any suitable consumer product or to any application where a secure, corrosion-resistant enclosure is desired.

    摘要： A padlock concept consisting of a novel shackle comprised of two tapered shackle elements arranged so that they overlay each other to enclose and opening sufficient to accept the staple of a hasp or attachment device. The shackle elements are connected at one end and when unlocked and unlatched are free to move apart, in a motion causing the two shackle elements to separate, providing a clearance between them, at the unconnected end. Each shackle element includes an opening to allow the staple of the hasp to pass to the common opening. This clearance occurs in opposing elements so that when the elements are brought together or closed the staple of the hasp is completely enclosed by the two shackle elements which substantially fill the space available within the hasp staple. The elements are then latched and locked to provide the security function of a padlock engaged with the staple of a hasp or attachment device.
