Abstract:
A method is provided for authentication for a multiplicity of services, where each service is called via a service-specific and/or subscriber-specific access authorization, and for authentication in an intelligent network for a multiplicity of IN services. The corresponding apparatus for authentication for a multiplicity of services has an authentication server with a memory and a comparison device that compares an authorization input with a stored access authorization.
Abstract:
Voice/fax messages are stored in an intelligent network. A network server receives an incoming call from a subscriber and, if the incoming call contains a voice/fax message, a trigger device is used to call up a voice/fax storage service which stores the voice/fax message either on a voice/fax storage server or in a subscriber terminal of the called subscriber. The corresponding apparatus has a callback device which is driven when a given time period is exceeded or when the message has been retrieved.
Abstract:
A system includes a communications network, a first communication device connected to the communications network, and a vending machine. The vending machine includes a retrieving device for obtaining a product from the vending machine, a second communication device connected to the communications network, and a dispensing device for dispensing the product from the vending machine. The first and second communication devices establish a connection via the communications network. The connection enables the retrieving device and the dispensing device.
Abstract:
Method for carrying out a transaction on a system that includes at least one central processing platform, at least issuer server and at least one acquirer server, wherein the central processing platform includes a routing engine coupled by a communication connection to the issuer server and the acquirer server, and the method includes the steps of receiving a transaction inquiry at the acquirer server or the issuer server, routing of the inquiry from the acquirer server or from the issuer server to the central processor platform, and operating the central processor platform, in order to implement the transaction.
Abstract:
A method for location-based billing for mobile telecommunication is described in this application. In this context, subscribers communicating on a mobile basis are subject to separate billing within a special billing zone as soon as a network server establishes that the mobile stations belonging to the subscribers are present within this zone at the same time.
Abstract:
A method for operating a cellular mobile radio network includes the step of allocating authorizations to selected mobile stations for a radio operation in particular in zones where radio interference is hazardous or radio traffic is undesired. The authorizations are stored in a local access authority register. Base stations, which are associated with cells that contain zones which are to be kept free of radio traffic, verify the presence of an authorization for each registering mobile station, and allow or prevent operation of the mobile station depending on the verification result. A control configuration for operating a cellular mobile radio network is also provided.
