摘要: The invention relates to a body illumination system comprising one or more light sources, said light sources being configured for emitting light in a wavelength range of 410-470 nm. The system is configured for exposing to said emitted light a surface area of 0.5-2.0 m2 of said body such that the power density of said emitted light on said surface area of said body is in the range of 20-120 mW/cm2, more preferably 30-100 mW/cm2. Alternatively, the system is configured for exposing to said emitted light a surface area of 10-60 cm′ of said body such that the power density of said emitted light on said surface area of said body is in the range of 10-30 mW/cm2. The body illumination system is for use in treating physical dysfunction, such as hypertension and erectile dysfunction.

摘要: A skin radiation apparatus (10) is described for providing a person's skin in a radiation area (12) of the apparatus with modulated photon radiation (14). The apparatus comprises a photon radiation source (18) for generating the photon radiation and a modulation facility (16) for causing a modulation of the total power density of photon radiation in the wavelength ranges from 300 to 700 nm, from 1900 to 2000 nm and from 2400 to 10.000 nm in the radiation area is modulated between a first and a second, mutually different level with a frequency of at least 0.1 Hz and of at most 10 Hz, wherein the first value is at least 20 mW/cm 2 and the second value is at most one fourth of the first value.

摘要: The invention relates to a skin treatment device, a lamp for use in such a skin treatment device, and its use. The skin treatment device according to the invention uses a combination of tanning-effective and/or anti-acne effective amounts of blue light in the spectral range from 400-440 nm in addition to the UV-light known in the art. An important advantage is that a lower UV dose can be used, leading to lower health risks, while the exposure times can be kept within acceptable limits, without compromising the skin treatment result.

摘要: UV lamp for treatment of the skin, which lamp has a radiation capacity substantially entirely in the UV spectrum and in the red-light spectrum, wherein the radiation capacity of the lamp in the red light spectrum between 600 nm and 700 nm is at least 3% of the radiation capacity in the UV spectrum. In a first embodiment the lamp is a UV fluorescent lamp, having a first UV emitting phosphor and a second red light emitting phosphor, wherein the red light emitting phosphor is CeGdMgB5O10:Tb,Mn. In a second embodiment the lamp is a UV HID lamp, wherein the bulb of the lamp contains LiI and/or CaI2 as a red light radiation salt.

The heat management means (210) is thermally coupled to the treatment target area (226) and distributes heat and controls the distribution of heat across the treatment target area (226). Part of the distributed heat may originate from the light source (214).
