    摘要: An optical-position adjusting device for an optical unit comprises a movement-conversion mechanism that converts a rotational movement of a rotary wheel cylinder into a linear movement of a lens barrel, and an optical-position adjusting mechanism that positions the lens barrel with respect to the rotary wheel cylinder. The optical-position adjusting mechanism has a ring and a fixing member. The ring is fit on the lens barrel in such a manner that the lens barrel can be moved along the central axis thereof. The ring is non-rotatable relative to the lens barrel. The fixing member is provided for fixing the ring to a frame in such a manner that the ring can be released from the frame.

    摘要: A binocular incorporates a focusing and diopter correction mechanism having a common shaft, whereby the diopter adjustment is performed by rotation of the shaft and the focusing operation is performed by axial movement of the shaft. The lens-moving portions of the focusing/diopter adjustment mechanism are in a cavity having an access hole, in which the shaft enters the access hole through a water-tight seal to control the lens-moving portions of the adjustment mechanism. The binocular also incorporates a strap attaching mechanism having a spring-loaded clip and groove, wherein a flanged pin provided to a strap end is pushed past the clip into the groove, and the clip returns under the bias of the spring to hold the flanged pin in the groove. Also included is an eyecup adjustment mechanism having two positions defined by click-stops, wherein the eyecups are not rotatable, but are longitudinally slidable relative to corresponding support barrels.

The connecting member connects the body and the planar member, and the connecting member causes one of the first edge or the second edge of the planar member that is contact with the light receiving surface to detach from the light receiving surface earlier than the other, by an operation of the body, so that said foreign matter adheres to said adhesive surface.

Two first cam grooves and two second cam grooves are formed on an outer circumferential surface at a distance along the circumferential direction. The two first cam grooves and the two second cam grooves are formed on the same area of the circumferential direction about the axis of the cam ring, i.e., the axis of a main shaft direction.

The connecting belt is supported and held in position so that it does not bind. The position of magnifying-power-varying lenses can be adjusted. The positions of the guide rings with respect to the telescope systems can also be adjusted.

The magnifying-power-varying mechanism includes rotatable cam rings and guide rings connected by a single connecting belt that moves perpendicular to the optical axes to rotate the cam rings. The connecting belt is supported and held in position so that it does not bind. The position of magnifying-power-varying lenses can be adjusted. During assembly, the magnifying-power-varying lenses can be mounted in the guide rings in a number of positions by rotating the lens frames holding the lenses about the optical axis and inserting sliders in linear guide grooves. Further, after assembly, the position of the magnifying-power-varying lenses along the optical axes in relation to the guide rings and cam rings can be adjusted.
