    摘要： A posturing device for posturing an individual so as to render the individual's back accessible. The posturing device comprises a base and a spine support system. The spine support system may be, for example, a flexible chain that conforms to the spinal shape of the individual. The device may also include one or more back supports attached to the base where each back support is moveable from a first configuration in which the back supports are applied to the base, and the individual's back is exposed, except in the spinal region, and a second configuration in which the back supports form an angle with the base and provided support to the back. The device may be used in order to carry out a treatment of the individual's back or for applying one or more transducers, such as microphones, to the individual's back.

    摘要： The present invention discloses a novel positioning unit configured in accordance with a recording matrix for ensuring correct and ergonomic positioning of a patient with respect to the recording matrix utilizing body landmarks such as spine and scapula. The technique of the present invention provides for supporting at least a region of the patient body in a desired position (e.g. on a patient bed) and positioning the regions of the patient body relative to the patient bed. The positioning unit allows repeated, precise supporting and positioning of a patient in a desired position with the patient being comfortably supported or fixed in this position, during the monitoring and diagnostic procedure, i.e. when the recording matrix is applied to the patient.

    摘要： The invention provides a microphone matrix for recording body sounds, such as respiratory tract sounds. The matrix has a frame having one or more recesses or openings on one of its surfaces. A microphone assembly is disposed in each recess or opening in the frame. When a body portion is applied to the matrix, each microphone assembly moves from an extended, spring biased position in which at least a portion of the microphone assembly protrudes beyond the surface of the frame towards a retracted position in which the microphone assembly is deeper inside the recess.
