Abstract:
A filling installation comprising a fixed frame, a tank mounted on the fixed frame so as to rotate about an axis, and a lid associated with the tank and provided with a feed pipe, positioning means being fixed to the lid, and being mounted on the fixed frame to slide parallel to the axis of rotation between a position in which the lid is applied against an edge of the tank so as to close off said tank and a position in which the lid is spaced apart from the edge of the tank.
Abstract:
A method of sterilizing containers by means of an electron gun, the method comprising the steps of inserting the gun into an opening of the container and of applying electron bombardment, and also the step of orienting the container so that it has its opening directed downwards prior to inserting the gun therein. The invention also provides an installation for implementing the method.
Abstract:
The method of aseptically treating containers in accordance with the invention comprises the step of subjecting the containers while held upside-down in a heat treatment station to steam at 140° C. for 2 s to 20 s and then in subjecting the containers in a station to a disinfectant mixture comprising peracetic acid, hydrogen peroxide, acetic acid, and water raised to a maximum temperature of 60° C.
Abstract:
An installation for sterilizing articles comprises an enclosure having an inlet opening and an outlet opening, a support device for moving the articles inside the enclosure, and two electron bombardment members disposed on different orientations relative to the articles to be sterilized and inclined relative to the longitudinal axis of the articles.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for forming and welding blanks in a material able to become superplastic, of the type comprising cooperating dies between which such blanks are placed, which dies are respectively mounted on a lower frame and on an upper frame of the device. The device according to the invention is remarkable in that the lower frame is constituted of a base and of a vertically movable part carrying a die, in that an inflatable bladder is interposed between the base and the movable part of the lower frame, in that a mechanical a lock is provided for connecting together the the base and the upper frame, when the latter is in low position, and in that, in the low and locked position of the upper frame with respect to the base of the lower frame, cooperation of the dies is achieved by controlling the bladder.
Abstract:
The container capping device includes a capping head carried by a hollow support member in the shape of a bracket, vertically movable and including a vertical part going through a cover, with the rotation driving mechanism of the capping head and the control mechanism of the jaws of the capping head being enclosed in the part of the support member which extends above the cover.

Abstract:
This invention relates to a tool support, particularly for a robot, of the type comprising two parts connected together by an assembly of elastic plates which, at rest, are disposed tangentially to a circle concentric to a reference axis of said robot with which the axis of the tool merges, and which, when working, enable that part of said support which bears the tool to move with respect to said reference axis, wherein each of said plates is connected to one of said parts of the tool support via a swivel joint assembly or the like and to the other of said parts via an articulation whose axis is at right angles to said reference axis. The invention is more particularly applicable to automatic machining with displacement of the tool parallel to itself.
