Abstract:
A printing system comprises a processor to obtain image data comprising first image data defining a first color plane of the image and comprising second image data defining a second color plane of the image. The processor is to manipulate the image data such that the second color plane is shifted relative to the first color plane in a media axis direction of a printer. The printing system comprises a printer to print the manipulated image data with the printer.
Abstract:
A design plan can be defined as follows. In response to a user interaction with a user interface control for selecting from among a plurality of available nodes, a plurality of user selected nodes are caused to be displayed. Each node is displayed at a position on a virtual canvas determined by the user's interaction with the control. Each node is a visual representation of a plan element. The plan elements are examined to identify connection compatibilities between the elements. Based on the identified compatibilities and at least one of a user defined virtual canvas path and relative proximities between the nodes on the virtual canvas, the nodes are linked to create a plan artifact specifying corresponding connections between the represented plan elements.
Abstract:
Techniques for deduplication include an index, a receiver module, and an indexer module. The index can store information about data blocks. The receiver module can receive a data block. The indexer module can check whether information about the data block is in the index, and if information about the data block is not found in the index, then it can make a random decision about whether to store information about the data block in the index, and if the random decision is to store information about the data block in the index, then it can store information about the data block in the index.
Abstract:
A proxy tool can be controlled by injecting widget code into application code of a response to an application request. That response is returned client device such that when the application and widget code are processed, the widget code inserts a widget viewable with the rendered application code. Upon a determination that a subsequent request from the client device corresponds to user interaction with the widget and not the rendered application code, a state of the proxy tool is updated based on the sub sequent request.
Abstract:
In an example, a fluid injection apparatus includes a printed circuit board including a conductor layer, a cover layer forming a surface of the printed circuit board, and a cavity. A printhead die may be embedded in a molding material in the cavity.
Abstract:
A fluid ejection device includes a flexible membrane, an adhesive layer, a piezoelectric material layer, and first and second electrically conductive layers. The adhesive layer and the piezoelectric material layer include edge regions and central regions. A surface of the edge region of the piezoelectric material layer is coplanar with a surface of the edge region of the adhesive layer. The first electrically conductive layer is between the piezoelectric material layer and the adhesive layer such that a surface of the first electrically conductive layer is coplanar with the surface of the edge region of the piezoelectric material layer and the surface of the edge region of the adhesive layer. The second electrically conductive layer is over the surface of the edge region of the piezoelectric material layer, the surface of the edge region of the adhesive layer, the surface of the first electrically conductive layer, and the flexible membrane.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for prioritizing print jobs of different families within a print job batch are provided, Such a system may include, for example, an input/output port and a processor. The input/output port may output a print job batch including at least one print job of a first family and at least one print job of a second family. The processor configured may determine the order of priority of the print job batch based at least in part on a first trend of expected differences in setup times between print machines when the first family is prioritized before the second family and a second trend when the second family is prioritized before the first family.
Abstract:
A light field display for providing continuous 3D images to viewers at multiple views is provided. The light field display includes a pixel layer having a plurality of pixel layer elements, a resonant subwavelength lens layer having a plurality of resonant subwavelength lenses and a circuit board connected to the pixel layer and the resonant subwavelength lens layer. Each resonant subwavelength lens in the resonant subwavelength lens layer is integrated with an element in the pixel layer. The element may be either a pixel or a subpixel, such that each image view may be provided per pixel or subpixel in the pixel layer.
Abstract:
An ink composition includes a colorant visible under visible light and a tagging composition, including a carrier and a detectable marker dispersed or dissolved in the carrier. The detectable marker is an isotope of an element, the isotope being present in the ink composition in a concentration ranging from about 1 parts per billion (ppb) to about 1000 ppb.
