摘要： An apparatus for stretching a cylinder blanket on a sheet transfer cylinder of a sheet-fed printing press includes a tiltable member mounted on the cylinder. A first end of the blanket is first attached to the cylinder in a cylinder groove, the blanket is wrapped around the cylinder, and the second end of the blanket is attached to the tiltable member, while the tiltable member is in an open position. The tiltable member is then closed to stretch the blanket about the cylinder, and locked into the closed position to maintain the blanket about the cylinder.

摘要： In a rotary printing press, there is provided a device for bringing a rubber-covered cylinder into and out of engagement with at least one of a pair of cylinders consisting of an impression cylinder and a plate cylinder, the rubber-covered cylinder being mounted on a shaft, which includes a substantially circular ring turnably disposed on the shaft of the rubber-covered cylinder, the ring being spring biased in a direction towards a middle location between two circumferentially rounded bracing stops and being formed with an indentation at a section of the circumference thereof, the ring being turnable on the shaft so as to move the indented section of the circumference thereof into a position opposite one of the bracing stops for bringing the rubber-covered cylinder out of engagement with the impression cylinder, the indented section being formed as an insert channel for accommodating therein the circumferentially rounded one bracing stop, the other of the pair of bracing stops being in continual engagement with the circular circumference of the ring and being displaceable by remote control for disengaging the rubber-covered cylinder from the plate cylinder without turning the ring, the other biasing stop also forming a support location for introducing the circumferentially rounded one bracing stop into the insert channel in an operating phase wherein the rubber-covered cylinder is disengaged from the impression cylinder, as well as in an operating phase wherein the rubber-covered cylinder is disengaged from both the impression cylinder and the plate cylinder.

摘要： Washing device for cleaning a cylinder of a printing machine includes a brush roller formed with bristles and rotatably driven about an axis, the brush roller cooperatively engaging the cylinder, a device for feeding washing fluid to the bristles for self-cleaning the bristles, and a deflection element disposed in a rotational region of the bristles, fixed in position relative to the brush roller and extending along the length of the brush roller, the bristles yieldingly brushing against the deflection element as the brush roller is rotated so as to be bent temporarily and subsequently returned to a straight extended position thereof, the deflection element being formed as a distributor pipe connected to the feeding devices and having outlet openings formed therein for directing the washing fluid radially towards the axis of the brush roller.
