This registers the teleconference, and notifies all the teleconference participants of a schedule of the teleconference run. When a teleconference participant wishes to receive data on the date and time of a teleconference run, a teleconference status confirmer in the teleconference registerer reads the registered data of the teleconference run, thereby notifying the interrogating teleconference participant. When a teleconference participant cannot attend a teleconference, a teleconference absence notifier in the teleconference registerer receives his absence notice, and notifies all other attending teleconference participants of his absence. On reaching the reserved date and time of a registered teleconference, a teleconference executor in the SCP automatically puts all the attending teleconference participants online. An SCP controller in the SCP performs the entire control of the teleconference registerer and the teleconference executor, as well as an interface with an exchange. The IN call processor in the exchange performs the interface with the exchange by a conversion between a message for use by the SCP and a message for use by the exchange, which is a conventional exchange.

An ISDN cannot maintain details on each of the number of pieces of data terminal equipment in each subscriber. Therefore, the data terminal equipment returns to the ISDN the logical channel group number (LCGN) which has been allotted to itself upon recipt of a package at the ISDN. The ISDN then refers to the logical channel management memory corresponding to the specified data terminal equipment using that LCGN, while the data terminal equipment refers to the logical channel management memory in its own terminal adapter, with both thus obtaining the information required for the start of the packet communication.Further, when forming in the ISDN a logical channel management memory corresponding to a newly established data terminal equipment, direct registration is performed directly between the ISDN and data terminal equipment automatically for the LCGN, etc.

When a subscriber dials a special number, the service control portion is activated. Thus, the service control portion sends to the subscriber a command for requesting him to input his PTN. When the service control portion receives the PTN of a receiving subscriber according to the input command thereof, it detects the telephone number of the receiving subscriber using the PTN management table. A translation module analyzes a service request message from an originating subscriber and creates a database processing request corresponding to the content of the service request. An outputted processing module sends a message to the intelligent telephone network based on an outputted processing request from a one of the service application programs. The application interface platform is provided between the plurality of the service application programs and the database. The database processing, application processing and outputted processing requests between two modules or between a module and a service application program are made in a common data format.

The call control processing system has an internal primitive unit for managing the physical requirements of the subscriber terminal in response to a number allocated to the call and requests a concept generating and managing unit to execute the service request processing. The concept generating and managing unit generates and manages a concept independent of the physical condition, such as a concept expressing a path between the service switching point and the service control point and a concept for connecting more than two paths and transmitting a message based on the concept through a telephone signal network to the service control point.
