    摘要: An intimate mixture comprising (A) a substantially linear aromatic polyazole and (B) a sparingly crystallizable aromatic copolyamide having a glass transition temperature of at least 200.degree. C. and a flow initiation temperature of not more than 500.degree. C. in such proportions represented by A/(A+B)=0.15-0.70 by weight, and a process for producing the intimate mixture, which comprises dissolving the aromatic polyazole (A) and the aromatic copolyamide (B) in a weight ratio represented by A/(A+B)=0.15-0.70 in a common solvent, and forming an intimate mixture of the aromatic polyazole (A) and the aromatic copolyamide (B) from the solution using a coagulating agent.

    摘要: An anisotropic aromatic polyamide dope comprising more than 10% by weight of an aromatic polyamide and a solvent for the polyamide, said polyamide consisting essentially of, at least 5 mole% but less than 35 moles%, based on its entire units, of an only partially p-oriented structural unit expressed by the following formula ##STR1## wherein Ar.sup.1 is a divalent aromatic ring whose chain-extending bonds are coaxial or parallel, X is a member selected from the group consisting of O, S and NH, and the NH group bonded to the benzene ring of the above benzoxazole, benzothiazole or benzimidazole ring is meta or para to the carbon atom of said benzene ring.

    摘要: A process for producing a thermoset resin, which comprises reacting (A) a poly(cyclic iminoether), (B) an ethylenically unsaturated compound having a functional group reactive with the poly(cyclic iminoether), and (C) an ethylenically unsaturated monomer having no functional group reactive with the poly(cyclic iminoether), in the presence of an acid catalyst and a radical catalyst. Instead of the compound (B), there may be used the compound (D), i.e. a compound having at least two equivalents of at least one group selected from the class consisting of carboxyl, hydroxyl, amino, epoxy and carboxylic anhydride groups in the molecule and being free from an ethylenically unsaturated bond. The present application provides also a thermosetting composition and a thermoset resin.

    摘要: An aromatic and/or heterocyclic polyamide-amide type polar solvent composition is prepared by prepolymerizing an aromatic or heterocyclic diamine with an aromatic or heterocyclic or heterocyclic dicarboxylic acid chloride in a smaller molar equivalent than that of the diamine to prepare a prepolymer solution having a solution viscosity of 20 poise or less; by removing a by-product, hydrochloric acid, from the resultant prepolymer solution by neutralizing it with ammonia to such an extent that the pH of a mixture of 10 g of the neutralized mixture with 200 ml of water becomes 3.7 to 8.0; by high polymerizing the prepolymer with an additional amount of aromatic or heterocyclic dicarboxylic acid chloride, and; finally, by converting the entire amount of hydrochloric acid and 10 to 70% NH.sub.4 Cl in the resultant polyamide solution into an amide type polar solvent-soluble salt, with a neutralizing agent, the amount of the salt being in a range of from 5 to 95% by weight of the theoretical amount of the salt to be derived from the entire amount of the dicarboxylic acid chloride.
