摘要： A processing apparatus processes input pixel data by referring to pixel data of peripheral pixels. The processing apparatus divides an input image in a first direction, inputs pixel data of a divided image divided in the first direction in a second direction crossing the first direction at a right angle, and stores the inputted pixel data. When a pixel to be referred to for processing the stored pixel data is not included in the divided image, the processing apparatus outputs pixel data of the reference pixel based on the stored pixel data, and processes the stored pixel data by referring to the pixel data of the reference pixel.

摘要： A planar antenna for linearly polarized waves includes a grounding conductor plate, a power supply circuit plate having a pattern of power supplying circuit of conductor strips each including power supply terminals, and a radiation plate having apertures forming radiation elements, the respective plates being arranged sequentially with an insulating layer interposed between adjacent ones of the plates to separate them to be independent of one another through a predetermined interval, while arranging the power supplying terminals of the power supplying circuit pattern as well as the apertures in the radiation plate so that the respective power supply terminals terminate to be within a contour of the apertures, in a top plan view, whereby the planar antenna makes it possible to receive at a high gain the linearly polarized waves over a wide band.

摘要： This invention relates to an MFP having copy and scanner functions. The MFP in which image data flows from a line sensor to a DRAM via an A/D conversion unit and a reading control unit (RCU) and then from an image processing unit (IPU) to a printer via the DRAM has the following arrangement. Both the RCU and the IPU can execute a shading process. In the CM, the RCU executes the shading process. Then, the image is compressed and stored in the DRAM. In the SM, the RCU does not execute the shading process, and the image is temporarily stored in the DRAM without compression. The IPU reads out image data of each rectangle from the DRAM together with shading data, executes the shading process and various kinds of image processing, and outputs the image data to the DRAM.

Accordingly, a module positioned on the preceding side in the pipeline processing controls a transmission interval of processed data so that the post-stage module can receive the data processed by the preceding module.

The requesting unit controls a quality of an image that the image forming device requests the electronic device to output in conformity with the recording condition and an image forming condition.

摘要： According to the invention, a power supply for an image sensing device is obtained from a printer to prevent consumption of the battery. When the image sensing device is connected to the printer, a power management unit checks if electric power can be supplied from the printer. When electric power can be supplied from the printer, the power management unit switches the power supply from the battery to a power supply receiving/supplying unit that receives electric power from the printer. In this case, if the remaining capacity on the battery is small, the battery is charged by electric power from the printer. Also, the luminance of a display unit is increased, or the operation frequency of a control unit is raised. On the other hand, when electric power cannot be supplied from the printer, the power management unit switches the power supply to the battery. In this case, the power management unit reduces consumption power by decreasing the luminance of the display unit or reducing the operation frequency of the control unit.
