摘要： An image forming apparatus includes a main body of the image forming apparatus; a developing cartridge that is detachably disposed in the main body and includes an image carrier; a charging roller that is disposed to face the image carrier in the developing cartridge and charges a surface of the image carrier; a charging roller separating unit that moves the charging roller between a first position in which the charging roller is in contact with the image carrier and a second position in which the charging roller is spaced apart from the image carrier; and a paper feeding cassette detachably disposed in the main body; wherein when the paper feeding cassette is first mounted, the charging roller is fixed in the second position by the charging roller separating unit.

摘要： An image forming apparatus and a developer thereof includes a developer frame to store a developing agent, a developing device rotatably mounted to the developer frame, a support member mounted to the developer frame, and a regulating member having a first end fixed to the support member, and a second end opposite to the first end, the second end installed in a trail-type manner. The support member includes a plurality of bending portions bent to reinforce a strength of the support member. A trail-type regulating device improved to maintain a sufficient strength and a sufficient elasticity is also disclosed. The regulating device allows the developing agent layer attached to the developing device can be uniform.

摘要： An image forming apparatus having an improved configuration to prevent foreign substances from accumulating on a space maintaining member used to maintain a constant distance between a photoconductor and a developer delivery member. The image forming apparatus includes a photoconductor, a developer delivery member to deliver and feed developer to the photoconductor, a cleaning member to remove the developer and foreign substances remaining on a surface of the photoconductor while coming into contact with the photoconductor, and a space maintaining member arranged to come into contact with the photoconductor so as to maintain a constant developing gap or developing nip between the photoconductor and the developer delivery member. The space maintaining member is located between both ends of the cleaning member.
