    摘要: An engine start control system includes a key transponder, a steering lock, a driver authorizer, an engine starting switch, a pre-driving operation detector, a first and second steering lock controllers and an engine start controller. The key transponder stores a slave ID code and transmits the slave ID code at a request. The driver authorizer stores a master ID code and determines whether the slave ID code corresponds to the master user ID code. The pre-driving operation detector detects a driver's preparatory operation to start the engine. The first steering lock controller permits the steering lock to be unlocked when the driver authorizer determines that the slave ID code corresponds to the master ID code. The second steering lock controller unlocks the steering lock when the pre-driving operation detector detects the driver's preparatory operation. The engine start controller permits the engine to be started when the steering lock is unlocked.

    摘要: In the keyless entry control, if control switches are operated again while a transmission process specified by the control switch is being executed, function codes specified by states of operation of the control switch are stored by a transmitter. A remote control signal generated by converting the stored function code is transmitted after the completion of the preceding transmission process. If the control switch is operated twice to unlock all the doors of a vehicle, the doors other than that beside a driver's scat are unlocked by a transmission process corresponding to the second operation of the control switch after the door beside the driver's seat is unlocked in response to the first operation of the control switch.

    摘要: Prenotification information of releasing prohibition of an engine operation is stored in an EEPROM in an interval. The interval is after that a lock controller commands a steering lock to be operable. The interval is before that an engine controller switches an engine operation prohibiting signal to be in a prohibition releasing condition. The engine operation prohibiting signal may change from the prohibition releasing condition to the prohibition setting condition after an engine starting controller starts an engine. In this condition, the engine is stopped, or is continuously operated in accordance with the prenotifying information stored in the EEPROM.

The system allows, based on a first operation, the engine to start, in a case that all of the authentications for the user ID and the device IDs are successful, and prohibits the engine from starting, in a case that the authentication for the user ID is unsuccessful, irrespective of results of the authentications for the respective device IDs. The engine start controller further allows, based on a second operation, the engine to start, in a case that all of authentications belonging to a selected group are successful and that one authentication belonging to a second group is unsuccessful.
