A system can include various owners and buyers that create a searchable real estate listing. Buyers can review the list via computing device, such as a smartphone, and request home tours. Owners can review requests and approve potential buyers to tour their property. When the potential buyer approaches the property, software on their computing device can communicate via Bluetooth, or another wireless network, and unlock the wireless lockbox.

    摘要: A battery-powered trigger-locking device, which is configured to be disposed on a gun with a trigger for firing, includes a data receiver, a data memory and a logic device for determining whether data received by the receiver is the same, or substantially the same, as data stored in the memory. If a data match is indicated, the logic device causes an electromagnetic device to move a trigger-locking member to an unlocked position, permitting the gun to be fired. A separate electronic gun key is provided to transmit gun unlock data to the data receiver of the trigger-locking device. This gun unlock data may be a password, a long pseudo-random number or biologic data identifying the gun owner or some other person who is licensed or otherwise authorized to fire the gun.

    摘要: An automatic barrier operator system for operating a gate or upward acting garage door, for example, includes a controller for operating a reversible motor, a base radio frequency transmitter and a base radio frequency receiver. One or more remote control units include a radio frequency remote receiver and remote transmitter. The controller is operable to automatically close or open the barrier in response to a query signal sent from the base transmitter to the remote receiver and when the remote receiver is within range, returning a signal to effect operation of the barrier. The system is operable to effect operation or maintain the status quo of the barrier depending on the state of the barrier and a particular signal or lack of signal received by the controller from an authorized remote control unit or units. The system provides essentially hands-free automatic operation of opening and closing a garage door and the like.

    摘要: Methods and systems for using radio frequency identification (“RFID”) to automatically lock and unlock a mobile computing device. An RFID transceiver is installed in connection with a locking device. The locking device can secure the mobile computing device to a cable, which is securable to a physical structure. An RFID transmitter is configured to detect a signal from the RFID transceiver within a predetermined distance range and send a response signal to the RFID transceiver. If the RFID transmitter is within the range, the RFID transceiver detects the response signal from the RFID transmitter and issues an unlocking signal to change the position of the locking device to an unlocked position. If the RFID transmitter is outside of the range, the RFID transceiver does not detect a response signal from the RFID transmitter, and issues a locking signal to change the locking device position to a locked position.
