摘要: A centrifugal clutch for use especially in a motor-driven chain saw. The clutch includes a carrier which is provided for attachment to a drive shaft and on which radially moveable centrifugal weights are mounted. The weights can move radially outwardly under centrifugal force and counter to spring force and come into contact engagement with the drum which is the output end of the clutch. A restraining device is provided between each centrifugal weight 2 and carrier 1 so that the engagement of the clutch does not occur until after an elevated speed has been reached. Disengagement of the clutch occurs as in known clutches somewhat above the idling speed. The restraining device is configured so that it does not clear the outward path of the centrifugal weight until a certain minimum centrifugal force has been exceeded. This has the effect that the clutch engages suddenly at mid range speeds and can transmit a very high initial torque to the output tool driven through the clutch.

摘要: Aldehydes are produced by unmodified rhodium catalyzed hydroformylation process in a homogeneous organic phase using a solution of unmodified rhodium catalyst and an organic acid in a total amount, calculated as acid equivalent, of from greater than 3 moles to 3000 moles of acid per mole of rhodium. The organic acid is selected from: saturated aliphatic monocarboxylic acids having from 5 to 13 carbon atoms in the molecule; saturated aliphatic dicarboxylic acids having from 5 to 13 carbon atoms in the molecule; sulphonic acids having from 1 to 12 carbon atoms in the molecule; and combinations thereof. Use of the process can lead to either a significant increase in conversion without reducing selectivity for the desired aldehyde or a reduction in the specific use of rhodium.

摘要: A system for generating in-phase alternating current components which are fed into a medium held in a melting trough and flow in the medium between electrodes and counterelectrodes immersed in the medium to effect resistance heating. One embodiment of the system includes a supply voltage source, and a plurality of transformers each having a primary winding and a secondary winding, with the primary windings being connected together in series and to the source, each secondary winding being connected between a respective electrode and counterelectrode to provide a respective alternating current component, and each winding having a number of turns corresponding to the desired relative amplitudes of the current components. A second embodiment of the system includes a supply voltage source, at least one input transformer having a primary winding connected to the source and at least one secondary winding, and a plurality of additional transformers each having a primary winding and a secondary winding, with the primary windings of the additional transformers being connected together in series and in a closed loop, each secondary winding of the input transformer being connected in series with at least one secondary winding of the additional transformers between a respective electrode and counterelectrode to provide a respective alternating current component, and each winding of the additional transformers having a number of turns corresponding to the desired relative amplitudes of the current components.

摘要: A steering angle sensor, equipped for installation in a steering arrangement of a motor vehicle, is provided. The steering angle sensor comprises a rotatably mounted first gearwheel which upon actuation of the steering arrangement rotates about an axis and at least one rotatably mounted second gearwheel which is in engagement with the first gearwheel and is carried along with a rotary movement of the first gearwheel, so that with reference to a rotary movement of the second gearwheel a steering angle of the steering arrangement can be determined. The teeth of at least one of the gearwheels are tapered in axial direction along the tooth width such that a respective tooth of the one gearwheel, which is tapered along the tooth width, with wedge action can be fitted into a tooth gap of the gearwheel in engagement therewith.
