    Abstract: The insulated cooler includes a body, a lid, and at least one latch assembly. The body includes an outer shell, an inner liner disposed therein creating a gap therebetween, and an insulating layer disposed within the gap. The body defines a cavity therein with an opening formed at its upper end. The lid is removably coupled to the body and covers the body's opening. The latch assembly includes an upper component having at least one aperture formed therein, a lower component having at least one opening formed therein, and an intermediate component having a first portion coupled to the upper component and a second portion coupled to the lower component. The intermediate component is fabricated using a thermoplastic rubber. The upper component is coupled to the lid using at least one aperture. The lower component is coupled to a top portion of the outer shell using at least one opening.

    Abstract: A disposable cooler can include: (1) a body having a base and a plurality of support walls coupled to the base, the plurality of support walls and the base defining an interior cavity of the body, and the plurality of support walls extending upwardly from the base to form an opening at an upper terminus of the body in fluid communication with the interior cavity; (2) a lid configured to reversibly couple with the body, the lid shaped to cover the opening of the body; and (3) a handle for carrying the cooler which is extends along a first support wall, the base, an opposite support wall, and above and beyond the lid so that a user can carry and/or transport the cooler with one hand while keeping the other hand free. The body, lid, and handle can be made entirely of a compostable, recyclable, and/or biodegradable.

    Abstract: A vacuum insulated container includes a body defined with inner and outer walls, a lid portion having a cap that is arranged to be actuated between open and closed states, and a removable cup that has a threaded connection to the body. Upon the cup being engaged with the body, an interior surface of the cup may contact the cap, or be arranged in proximity to the cap, in order to maintain the cap in the closed state. When the cup is removed from the body, the cap may be actuated between the open and closed states. In the open state, fluid may be accessed through an opening in the lid portion, where the opening conforms to a user's mouth to facilitate drinking. The fluid also may be poured from the container into the cup, which may include a liner or foam insulation.

    Abstract: Various examples are provided for a nestable cooler and a nestable cooler system. In one embodiment, the nestable cooler includes a hard-shelled body. A lid is coupled to the hard-shelled body and movable between an open position and a closed position. The hard-shelled body includes a first and a second longitudinal sides formed with a shelf on an interior surface of each of the first and second longitudinal sides, each shelf protruding inwardly into a cavity. The nestable cooler system can include the nestable cooler and a second nestable cooler. A base of the second nestable cooler can rest on the shelf when the second nestable cooler is disposed within the cavity.
