The invention relates to a wiper blade (10) comprising a connecting element (26), which comprises a base element (28) and a hinge element (68), wherein the base element (28) has a first side part (30) and a second side part (32), which are joined transversely to a longitudinal direction (40) by locking means (54, 56) and centering means (46, 48, 50, 52) interlocking, and which are held together by side walls (72) of the hinge element (68). It is proposed that the hinge element (68) is an adapter cap (68) made of plastic which comprises on the insides of the side walls (72) thereof clips (86), which in the installed state engage in recesses (66) on the outer longitudinal sides of the side parts (30, 32).

A device is proposed which is used to detachably connect a wiper blade (12) to clean windows, particularly of motor vehicles, to a driven wiper arm (10) featuring a wiper blade holder (50 or 150), whereby the wiper blade (12) that can be placed on the window (20) with a long-stretched-out, rubber elastic wiper strip (18) features a band-like, long-stretched-out elastic supporting element (16) that is curved in the longitudinal direction over its band surfaces (15, 17) on whose lower, concave band surface (17) the wiper strip (18) is arranged parallel to the longitudinal axis. On the outer convex band surface (15) of the supporting element (16) sits a connecting element (26), which features two parallel wall surfaces (36) mat are aligned in a vertical plane on the band surface and extend in the longitudinal direction of the wiper blade and that a pivot pin (42) projects from each wall surface, whereby the longitudinal axes of the two pivot pins are aligned with one another. An especially simple embodiment of the articulated connection with an integrated connecting device is achieved if an adapter (66 or 166) that can move in a pendulum fashion is positioned on the two pivot pins of the connecting element (26), and said adapter features means to connect to the wiper blade holder (50 or 150) of the wiper arm (10).

The invention is based on a wiper blade (10) with a supporting bracket system which can be connected to a wiper arm in an articulated manner and has at least one main bracket (12, 24) and a plurality of secondary brackets (24, 28) which are connected pivotably to one another by means of joints (20, 26), wherein, in the region of at least one joint (20, 26), the main bracket (12, 24) has a U-shaped cross-sectional profile, the side walls (18, 44) of which laterally enclose the secondary brackets (24, 28), and, on the insides of the side walls (44), has pivots (50) which, together with lateral clip cutouts (54) on the secondary bracket (28), form a clip connection and a bearing point, while the secondary bracket (28) is supported via a rolling bearing (34, 66) on a top wall (58) of the main bracket (24). It is proposed that the pair of brackets (12, 24 or 24, 28), which in this way are connected to each other in an articulated manner, is manufactured from plastic in an injection-moulding process, with the pivots (50) being integrally cast on the insides of the side walls (18, 44) of the main bracket (18, 24).

The invention provides that the connecting element (16) forms part of the longitudinal channel (60) along with a connecting plate (22) in that the connecting plate (22) forms the side facing the wiper strip (50) with the base (24) thereof, and encloses the support element (12, 92) with the side walls (26) thereof, while the connecting element (16) forms the side opposite the base (24) and overlaps the side walls (26) with side parts (44) thereof, wherein part of the receiving profile (30) is integrally formed on the base (24) of the connecting plate (22) toward the wiper strip (50).

The object of the invention is a wiper blade (10) with a wiper strip (12), in the lateral longitudinal grooves (20) of which spring rails (24) are inserted as springy supporting elements. The ends of the spring rails (24) are connected with one another by a bridge (32, 54, 62, 76) in that side parts (36, 66, 80) of the bridge (32, 54, 62, 76) are supported at the upper side of the spring rail (24) and engage recesses (28, 30) of the spring rails (24), whereas a middle part (34, 64, 78) of the bridge (32, 54, 62, 76) bridges a back strip (22) of the wiper strip (12), which forms the upper boundary of the longitudinal grooves (20). It is proposed that the spring rails (24), at their front faces, have short slots (28), which extend in the longitudinal direction of the spring rails (24) and which are engaged by the I-shaped angle pieces (38, 56) of the bridge (52, 54). Lower legs (40, 58) of the angle pieces (38, 56) are directed towards the middle of the spring rails (24), gripping these from below.

The invention relates to a wiper device for windows of motor vehicles, comprised of a non-articulated wiper blade with a wiper strip, a wiper lip arranged thereon and a coupling part that can be connected to the wiper blade for a detachable connection with a swivelable wiper arm of the vehicle, wherein the wiper strip includes a profile with guide grooves to laterally accommodate two spring rails, which are each connected with one another as a single piece on their two ends. It is provided that the wiper strip (16) feature a locking device, which, in a locked setting, fixes the spring rails (20) in the wiper strip (16), and which, in an unlocked setting, enables a longitudinal displacement of the spring rails (20) in the guide grooves (24) of the wiper strip (16).
