Abstract:
In at least one embodiment, the invention preferably relates to a hollow fiber membrane mat having hollow fiber membranes arranged parallel to one another and adjacent to one another, the membranes having a wall and a continuous lumen, wherein the hollow fiber membranes are connected to one another by means of a plurality of linear connecting elements which are arranged spaced apart from one another and parallel to one another and the membranes are kept apart from one another by the linear connecting elements and wherein the hollow fiber membranes are composed of a thermoplastic polymer and wherein the walls of the hollow fiber membranes arranged adjacent to one another are fluid-tight in at least one stripe extending parallel to the linear connecting elements, inside of which stripe the hollow fiber membranes are fluid-tight, preferably have a superheated steam shrinkage of at most 5%. Other embodiments of the invention preferably relate to a method for producing and/or using such hollow fiber membrane mats.

Abstract:
A replaceable stabilizer comprises a steel sleeve with fixed blades adapted to be installed over the reduced lower box end of tubular rotary drill steel member prior to insertion of the taper threaded pin of a drill bit into the taper threaded drill steel box. The drill steel member may be a special sub or a regular length of drill steel with modified lower end. An internal straight thread at the upper end of the sleeve screws onto an external straight thread on the drill steel box. An annular rubber gasket secured to the upper end of the sleeve is clamped between the upper end of the sleeve and a shoulder on the steel between the main body and the reduced box end thereof. An inturned flange at the lower end of the sleeve is clamped between a shoulder provided by the mouth of the drill steel box and a shoulder on the drill bit around its taper threaded pin. Make up of the pin and box forms a rotary shouldered connection. The outer ends of the blades are provided with tungsten carbide inserts or granular tungsten carbide hard facing is applied to the leading edge and the outer end of each blade.
Abstract:
A collapsible dwelling includes a front wall assembly, a rear wall assembly, opposed sidewall assemblies, a roof assembly and a floor assembly. The wall assemblies are collapsible to be received between the floor assembly and the roof assembly, and at least one of the roof assembly and the floor assembly defines at least one recess, the, or each, recess being dimensioned to receive an appliance that is mounted on one of the wall assemblies when that wall assembly is in a collapsed configuration.
Abstract:
A pressure pickup probe assembly includes a probe housing, a plurality of openings, and a pickup probe. The probe housing is configured to be mounted within, and extend at least substantially across, a flow passage. The probe housing further includes at least an inner surface and an outer surface. The probe housing inner surface defines at least a plenum therein. The plurality of openings is formed in the probe housing, and each opening extends between the probe housing inner and outer surfaces and is in fluid communication with the probe housing plenum. The pickup probe is disposed at least partially within the probe housing, and has at least a first end, a second end, and a bore extending between the first and second ends and that is in fluid communication with the probe housing plenum.
