Here, a tag may receive a GPS signal and transmit the received GPS signal to a reader, and the reader may calculate a location of the tag, and thereby a real-time location tracking service may be provided.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an RFID application interface method and a system thereof. In the present invention, an RFID middleware system changes a control request input from a user or an RFID application system according to a communication protocol of an RFID device to be controlled, and sends it to the RFID device. Also, when the user or the RFID application system inputs a data process policy that is common to various RFID devices of a logical RFID device group, the RFID middleware system generates data process rules that are suitable for communication capability and data processing capability of each RFID device based on the data process policy and provides an interface that allows processing of data by a corresponding RFID device. In addition, the RFID middle system defines a procedural flow of at least one of services and at least one of tasks that constitute an RFID business process and provides an interface to support interconnection and cooperation of services that are included in the RFID business process.
Abstract:
A system and method for VLAN configuration of an E-PON converts physical ONU port information to logical OLT port information to construct profile information of the logical OLT system and VLAN membership information based on the logical OLT port, and provides a VLAN service to the users of an optical subscriber network. Accordingly, the present invention allocates the users in the ONU systems belonging to the same OLT port to different VLAN groups, provides enhanced VLAN services for the E-PON users, causes the OLT to perform functions of managing the profile of the ONU systems and transferring information among the users of the ONU systems, and causes the ONU systems to operate as terminals performing a multiplexing/demultiplexing function rather than as a conventional two-layer switch.
Abstract:
To track the location of a terminal in an indoor space by using a pseudo GPS signal transmitter, a GPS signal sent from an artificial satellite is received, and a clock signal of the artificial satellite is extracted from the received GPS signal to perform synchronization with the artificial satellite. Once synchronization with the artificial satellite is performed, a pseudo GPS signal is generated, and the transmission time of the pseudo GPS signal is controlled. The GPS signal is sent to the terminal located in the indoor space by a plurality of transmitting antennas based on the controlled transmission time, thereby enabling the terminal located in the indoor space to track its location.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method of generating a pseudo noise (PN) code is provided. The apparatus for generating the PN code includes: a memory device unit including a plurality of memory devices; an exclusive-OR (XOR) operation unit receiving output values of at least two memory devices among output values of the plurality of memory devices to output an XOR operation value with respect to the received output values; and a PN code generation unit generating the PN code based on an output value of the XOR operation unit.
Abstract:
An improved rare probability connection call registration method which utilizes automatic congestion level (ACL) information within a release message for an asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) switching system. The method includes the steps of setting a predetermined threshold value, receiving a call releasing message, checking automatic congestion level (ACL) information in the call release message, and determining whether an ACL information is set. When the ACL information is not set continuous checks are made, and the method continues by increasing the count value when the ACL information is set, and it is determined whether the value of the ACL counter is greater than a predetermined threshold value. The method continues by registering a corresponding code as a rare probability connection call (RPCC) when the value of the counter is greater than the threshold value, outputting the corresponding code to an operator through an operator terminal, requesting call control with respect to the call request which is routed to the corresponding route, and clearing the value of the counter when the value of the counter is less than the threshold value after the measurement unit time has passed.
Abstract:
Provided are a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag and apparatus and method for locating a RFID tag without comparing arrival times of blink signals transmitted from the RFID tag in order to quickly trace a location of the RFID tag. The RFID tag includes a tag ID generator configured to generate a tag ID of the RFID tag, a blink generator configured to generate a plurality of sub-blink signals that form the blink signal, a sub-blink ID generator configured to generate sub-blink IDs for the generated sub-blink signals, a sub-blink ID inserter configured to insert the generated sub-blink IDs into the sub-blink signals, and a transmitter configured to transmit the blink signal having the tag ID and the sub-blink IDs.
Abstract:
A positioning system is provided which is capable of calculating the position of a target object even though it does not detect some synchronous signal necessary for position calculation. A communication signal receiver which provides information used in the position calculation is also provided. The positioning system includes a plurality of communication signal receivers each to detect a communication signal from a target object to be tracked and synchronous signals repeatedly transmitted for timing synchronization, and to acquire a receiving time interval between the synchronous signals, a receiving time interval between the synchronization signal and the communication signal, and synchronization signal identification information; and a position calculator to calculate a position of the target object by calculating a receiving time error of the communication signal from the receiving time interval between the synchronous signals, the receiving time interval between the synchronization signal and the communication signal, and the synchronization signal identification information.
Abstract:
A total history management system using a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag and a barcode. The system includes an RFID tag, a barcode recorder and a barcode reader. The RFID tag is attached to a box containing a plurality of individual products to store an environmental history of a distribution. The barcode recorder is configured to provide, to each of the plurality of individual products, a barcode in which identification (ID) information of the RFID tag is recorded. The barcode reader is configured to recognize the barcode attached to each of the plurality of individual products, and to output the environmental history of the distribution, corresponding to the ID information of the RFID tag that is received in response to a query with respect to the RFID tag, using the recognized barcode.
