    摘要: A cooling and electricity generation apparatus, a mobile communication terminal adopting the same, and a method of operating the mobile communication terminal are disclosed. A cooling and electricity generation apparatus has a cooling module including a first thermoelectric semiconductor installed at a predetermined area for removing heat generated at the predetermined area, and an electricity generation module including a second thermoelectric semiconductor having a heat absorbing plate and a heatsink. The heat absorbing plate is installed at a heating part of the first thermoelectric semiconductor of the cooling module so as to generate electromotive force by using a temperature difference between the heat absorbing plate and the heatsink. A portable terminal having the cooling and electricity generation apparatus has a power source unit used as an auxiliary power source of an internal power source by using electromotive force generated from the electricity generation module of the cooling and electricity generation unit. A step of checking a present operation mode and operating the cooling and electricity generation apparatus if the present operation mode is a predetermined operation mode is carried out. A step of closing an operation of the cooling and electricity generation apparatus if the present operation mode is not the predetermined operation mode is carried out.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a portable terminal, and to a method and apparatus for improving broadcasting reception performance of the portable terminal by filtering a transmission frequency of a radio frequency unit introduced to a broadcasting reception path without experiencing broadcast signal loss. The filtering can be achieved using a filter that includes a variable capacitor in the broadcasting reception path. Accordingly, the transmission frequency of the radio frequency unit may be filtered without a broadcast signal loss. A capacitance of the variable capacitor may be controlled according to the broadcast channel.

The internal antenna module includes a carrier having a partition formed on a surface thereof and a space defined by the partition; and a radiator disposed on the partition of the carrier. The built-in PCB antenna includes a main PCB having a power feeding line and a first antenna pattern having a power feeding antenna line having an end electrically connected to the power feeding line, through-holes formed at an end of the main PCB and having a conduction hole electrically connected to the first antenna pattern, an erected PCB fixed on the main PCB orthogonally and having a second antenna pattern formed thereon, and protrusions formed at a lateral side of the erected PCB and having a conduction protrusion, inserted into the conduction hole, electrically connected to an end of the second antenna pattern. The built-in PCB antenna may reduce deterioration of radiation performance caused by a body of a user.
