Abstract:
A method of testing a target electronic device implemented in a configurable integrated circuit device includes receiving a baseline design for the target electronic device in a hardware description language, establishing a fault model for the particular configurable integrated circuit device, synthesizing the fault model in the hardware description language, embedding the synthesized fault model into the baseline design to create a modified baseline design in the hardware description language which enables one or more targeted signals to be selectively corrupted, creating a fault model enabled target device on the particular configurable integrated circuit device using the modified baseline design, performing a number of fault injection experiments on the fault model enabled target device, wherein each fault injection experiment includes causing at least one of the one or more targeted signals to be corrupted within the fault model enabled target device.
Abstract:
A hopper mechanism comprising a hopper front panel and a back shoe horizontally sideable with respect to a hopper base together forming a hopper into which a horizontal deck of document cards may be placed; a belt extending around a pick roll moveable through the front panel for picking an end card in the hopper and driving it downwardly through a throat gap disposed in the hopper base; a relatively large diameter roll supporting the belt and forming a nip with the belt into which the picked document card moves from the throat gap for reversing the direction of movement of the card from vertical to horizontal; a registration arm swingable by the card as it passes out from engagement with the large diameter roll and belt for sensing the position of the card; and a reversely rotating roll coacting with a roller carried by the registration arm for moving the card backwardly, after the card has cleared the registration arm, into contact with a card abutting registration edge of the arm for providing a registered position for the card.
Abstract:
A weight training apparatus is configured to improve use and enjoyment of free-weights. The apparatus may leverage a modular or changeable assembly to accommodate different exercise or types of free-weight devices. The assembly may include a frame that can accommodate retainers that can secure to both a standard barbell shaft or receive plate weights. The retainers may also accommodate a handle that can rotate relative to the frame.

Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for preparing tri-filler incorporated natural rubber master batch. The fillers used in the present invention are carbon black, silica and nano-clay (modified montmorillonite clay, Cloisite 93 A). The process of preparing fillers incorporated master batch involves preparation of the individual filler dispersions by mixing each filler with surfactants. Further fresh rubber latex is soap sensitized by mixing it with surfactant. The filler dispersions are added to the soap sensitized rubber latex slowly under stirring to form the master mix. Then the master mix is coagulated by the addition of acid to form coagulum. The coagulum is dewatered and dried to obtain filler incorporated natural rubber master batch.
Abstract:
A traffic management system is disclosed that tells motorist how fast to go in order to make it through a traffic signal while it is in green phase. A Fast Lane On Warning (FLOW) sequencer is in synchronization with traffic phases sequencer (sequencing Red, Green, Yellow, Left Turn and the like) with both sequencers having service cycle period ‘Pi’ . The start times of both sequences are appropriately offset from one another. Sensors up road from the signal provide data on approaching vehicles number per time to a processor that synthesizes the data for one or more “fast” lanes in one or more directions. Using that data, the processor influences the signal and FLOW sequencers as well as emplaced and/or mobile on-board readouts to optimize phase openings and traffic distribution and traffic activity including: (1) To move denser traffic to leaner parts of a pattern; (2) To change net green ‘Tng’ in multi directions contracting the Tng in lean patterns and equally expanding Tng in dense patterns in opposing directions; (3) To change Pi and thus expand or contract all phases concurrently; (4) To encourage increased following distances of close follower vehicles through means of speed readouts. Thus, with optimization of FLOW patterns as they are being consolidated, there can be increased following distances, more uniform distribution, adding more places, resulting in increased safety and even more mobility than that provided by autonomous self-scheduling FLOW outputs alone.
Abstract:
The present invention generally relates to a locking apparatus adapted to interface with a valve and to selectively secure the valve in an open or closed position. More specifically, a valve handle lock is provided which is tamper resistant and is generally capable of use with valves produced by many manufacturers. The present invention further includes a locking mechanism that shrouds a portion of the valve handle attachment hardware and which can be used in conjunction with a typical padlock or other type of securement mechanism.
Abstract:
An invention regarding traffic management “Fast Lane On Warning” (FLOW) is disclosed whereby individual vehicles are informed and told what speed to go in order to pass through a traffic signal while the light is green. A converging, consolidating traffic managing “fast lane on warning” director sequencer works in conjunction with a traffic signal sequencer (commonly known in the art), both of which have the same service cycle period Pi. The (RGY) type phases and readout phases are set for each unique particular intersection. While the traffic sequencer controls repeating RGY cycles, the director sequencer instructs, generates, transmits repeating cycles of changeable readouts on one or more roadside unit (RSU) emplacements positioned up the road from the traffic signal for one or more lanes in one or more directions. These changing speed assignments or readouts, individually perceived by motorists, guide in motorists such that by the time they pass through the intersection, they will do so while the traffic signal is green, regardless of any random pattern of traffic individual motorists may have been in as they approached the emplacements.
