摘要: In one embodiment, a non-transitory computer readable medium may include computer-executable instructions that, when executed by a processor, may cause processor to receive a set of user data associated with a user that is attempting to access an electronic lock, receive a request to actuate a locking mechanism of the electronic lock configured to prevent the user from accessing a machine in an industrial automation system, actuate the locking mechanism in response to the request and the set of user data corresponding to an expected set of data, store a log of the request and the set of user data, and send the log to a cloud-based computing system.

摘要: A valve gate assembly with a eutectic implement configured to degrade in response to a force imparted along a non-parallel load path. The unique architecture employed for various embodiments ensures a non-parallel load path is employed in triggering the shift in position for a valve gate. This enhances the integrity of the eutectic implements such that a wider variety of valve gate assembly dimensions may be utilized. This, in turn, allows for such assemblies to be utilized with larger production line volumes without compromise to safety measures afforded by such safety valves.

摘要: In one embodiment, a multi-purpose sensor may couple to a machine operating in an industrial environment and include numerous sensors disposed within the multi-purpose sensor to acquire sets of data associated with the machine or an environment surrounding the machine. A first portion of the sets of data may include historical sensor measurements over time for each of the sensors, and a second portion of the sets of data may include sensor measurements subsequent to when the first portion is acquired for each of the sensors. A processor of the multi-purpose sensor may determine a baseline collective signature based on the first portion, determine a subsequent collective signature based on the second portion, determine whether the collective signatures vary, and generate signals when a variance exists. The signals may cause a computing device, a cloud-based computing system, and/or a control/monitoring device to perform various actions.

摘要: A securing apparatus for securing a valve lever in a set position comprises a base body; a sliding piece; and a screw element, wherein the base body and the sliding piece each have a clamping surface; wherein the sliding piece is displaceably supported at the base body along a longitudinal axis; and wherein the screw element is rotatably supported at the base body and has a thread that is in engagement with a mating thread of the sliding piece so that a position of the sliding piece relative to the base body along the longitudinal axis is restricted to a maximum spacing between the clamping surfaces that can be changed by a rotation of the screw element in order to clamp the valve lever between the clamping surfaces. Depending on a rotational position of the screw element, a blocking receiver formed at the screw element is aligned with a blocking receiver formed at the base body so that a blocking element, in particular a cable, can engage into both blocking receivers in order to block the screw element in this rotational position.

The fire extinguisher system having a passively activated (turned on) and deactivated (turned off) sliding safety interlock cross shaft structure. The system interlock operation is generally performed without an operator performing any new or additional tasks in addition to those tasks that are typically implemented during installation, repair, and/or maintenance tasks. The safety interlock shaft is generally shaped and positioned to prevent inadvertent discharge of fire extinguishing chemicals via propellant when the outlet does not have either of a discharge conduit (pipe, tubing, or the like) or the anti-recoil plug properly installed therein.
